Admittedly it was busy when I visited to eat in, but the place was an absolute mess. Stayed for 25 minutes and not one member of staff moved from the counter to even check the state of the place in that time. Crumbs all over the floor and tables, bin was full and the yellow 'wet floor' signs were stuffed down the side of the chiller cabinets looking very cluttered. I've added a star to give them the benefit of the doubt that they cleaned the place after I left, otherwise it would be a one star. Genuinely unpleasant and unclean.

Came into the store just after one of their delicious sausage rolls, unfortunately a middle aged female member of staff with glasses decided to go up to me whilst I was in the queue and whisper a homophobic slur in my ear, afterwards going back behind the counter and staring directly at me. needless to say this was a bizarre experience and certainly ruined what would have been a nice break from work.

Today at Gregg's in Wantage we had to wait a few minutes for bacon. One of the staff, Mel was lovely and gave us a free coffee for the inconvenience. This was not needed but what great customer service. Thanks!
