After sending off all the appropriate information for my first passport, I got notification that my birth certificate was not clear enough and I'd need to send another one. After waiting over a month for my mother's after applying online I called the registrary office in the hopes that I could get one today. The guy I spoke to on the phone (James) informed me that I was able to go done fill out a form and receive my birth certificate today and within 10/15 mins I ahd the copy in my hands. For £35 I can't complain, quick easy process and was able to send the copy the same day. Couldn't of gone better, would recommend.

The staff are really great, just been to a wedding here and the guy doing the ceremony clearly loves his job. Funny as and put bride and groom at ease. Would be 5* but the location isn't that great for the photos although you could go into the Rochester high street which is quite picturesque.

Not all impressed with the informality of the registrar,she referred to us all as Guys when I was the only male member in attendance. Where has all the respect disappeared to from our younger generation. Extremely disappointed,you could see staff outside urgently wanting to enter the room again very poor whilst we were registering my father's death there was no respect whatsoever..

Pleasant surroundings for a wedding this afternoon. But they could really benefit from some aircon for hot days as it was immensely uncomfortable in the heat today.

Lovely venue for weddings. My mum got married there last weekend and it was lovely. Good service. Held lots of people in the main room. With side doors for exits, coming out into there beautiful garden. Not sure if there's toilets there but there is opposite the outside entrance. There's wheelchair access. Big car park opposite also for all your guests to park. Was a good turnout. Any questions please ask.

I got married here on 28/1/22 and the staff were absolutely fabulous. Every phonecall i made leading up to the wedding the staff handled with professionalism, kindness and care. When i made a n impromptu visit 3wks before my wedding, the staff were accomodating and very helpful.On the day they were all fantastic and made a very nervous bride and bridesmaid feel that everything was under control.However i agree with the previous review the building is not great for pics but 1 min walk you have the amazing Rochester castle where we took some fantastic pictures.
