100% best Chinese in York as other reviews say.Have all the nice touches: mint choc after dinner, wipes between courses, clean your table between courses, serve rice onto your plate before you start, constantly tip up drinks etc.They are so kind to our family every time. Always recognise us and are so friendly. The atmosphere and interior is lovely (very comfy seats!)The food is genuinely incredible. So fresh, tasty and heart. The duck is better than any other I’ve ever had.Genuinely couldn’t recommend enough.

Restaurant is very small so make sure you book. The staff were very polite and attentive. The food was amazing and for the money the portion sizes were fantastic. I was recommended to go here by friends and family and I will definitely go here again.

Our second visit this evening.Service, and food above excellent.Tonight I had Special Chow Mein. It was huge, with plenty on King prawn and Meats.My Wife has salt n pepper Crispy Chilli Chicken.Great to see this place doing so well. Everything a Cantonese should be

Visiting York on holiday and came for a meal with family. Wonderful place. The food is so fresh and tasty, very generous portions but not at the expense of outstanding quality. Service is warm and friendly. The restaurant is decorated simply and comfortably. If even back in the area we will ensure that we return.

Thankyou so much for our wonderful meal and excellent service tonight for our Grandson's 16th birthday. The food was fantastic everything tasted superb and it was the best we have ever had at Paddyfields,Haxby.5stars well earned a credit to the chefs and service staff.

We are staying in Haxby with friends for a long weekend and earlier ordered from Paddy Fields of Haxby.We collected a take away order of various different meals for 6 tonight and every meal was excellent and more than enough in size to suit all of us.We cannot recommend them enough as we were so surprised how polite and pleasant they were too.

Best Chinese restaurant in york! Food is good for value, I love their salt and pepper chicken options. Curry sauce is fab. Cant wait to come back :)

Amazing customer service, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and portions were so big we took the rest home. Highly recommend.

Great food and huge portions. If you are looking for better quality Chinese food then this could be your spot. Special fried rice is the best I've had by far and you can split it between 3 people
