Brixham Heritage Museum
This museum is well worth a visit if you are visiting Brixham. The friendly welcome in reception along with a description of the building, where to head to and a bit of the history was really interesting.I loved reading the various stories and connecting to the past lives of the people in Brixham and the services and sacrifices they made.I definitely recommend.

A free museum, feel free to donate. A really worthwhile to visit when staying in the area. A comprehensive history of Brixham from earliest locals living in caves and the rise of a fishing village to the current town you see today

A good quality museum staffed by volunteers. Very happy with the time spent there.... displays were very informative and I loved the room dioramas".... well worth a longer visit on our next trip.... : )"

Great little museum full of amazing facts, a little off the beaten track but still quite easy to find. A good place to visit for people of all ages and over the road from a pub which is always a bonus!

Brixham Heritage Museum
An oasis of Brixham history and a great place to visit if it's raining.Very friendly volunteers running it, free entry. Donation box at the end for those who have the means and want to give some cash.A mixture of exhibits, photos and stories fill the museum which used to be the local police station.A relaxing way to learn more about Brixham and its people.

This is a hidden gem, a lovely museum (free) entry, child friendly lots of interactive things and a backpack with activities for children (returnable at end of tour) great history of the local area.

Brixham Heritage Museum
A brilliant place packed with lots of interesting items.The two ladies who work there were so kind and helpful, especially with my 3 year old son. They are a credit to the museum.I’m not from the area and was made to feel so welcome so we will definitely be back when we next visit Brixham.There are lots of toys on the top floor and dress up clothes which my son thoroughly enjoyed.
