I recently concluded the sale of my property in December 2023 with Frestons, and my review encompasses two key aspects: the commendable performance of Naeman, the agent responsible for managing the sale, and an evaluation of Frestons as a whole.Naeman's Remarkable Service: I am compelled to extend my appreciation for Naeman's exceptional service throughout the sale process. Despite his youthful appearance, Naeman's depth of knowledge, eloquence, and proactive approach surpassed my expectations. His accessibility at all hours, coupled with prompt responses to queries, fostered a trusting relationship. Notably, Naeman's strong negotiation skills proved instrumental in achieving the desired price for my property—a 4-year-old new build apartment with high specifications relative to the area.Naeman consistently exhibited professionalism, going above and beyond to address challenges and alleviate the inherent stresses in property transactions. His dedication and problem-solving skills were pivotal in navigating the complexities often associated with property sales. I unequivocally endorse Naeman for future property transactions and will confidently recommend him to family and friends.Evaluation of Frestons: While recognizing Frestons as a relatively young estate agency with room for improvement, I acknowledge the wealth of experience demonstrated by its directors. Despite limited presence in my area, Frestons leveraged their expertise effectively. The modern branding and quality photography services contributed to presenting my property attractively to potential buyers.Frestons' handling of logistics and administrative tasks post-offer acceptance was generally commendable. However, there were instances where stakeholder management, particularly during the conveyancing process, could have been more effective. For example, as my buyers transaction was nearing exchange, I was pressurised by Frestons to agree on a completion date ASAP. However, the conveyancing process for my property was nowhere near complete, so talking about completion was a bit premature and all it needed was for Frestons to convey this to the buyer and manage her expectations of being in a chain better.One notable area of concern arose with Frestons' recommended solicitors. Despite a strong rapport with Naeman, my experience with the suggested solicitor was subpar. Poor communication, slow responses, and a lack of information dissemination created significant inconvenience. Additionally, the solicitor's lack of approval with multiple lenders led to unexpected delays in my property purchase. I was gobsmacked at how Frestons could be recommending me a solicitor that is not even approved with lenders! This added on 3-4 weeks onto the conveyancing of my purchase as I was waiting for the solicitor to lodge an application to join the approved panel of solicitors with the lenders. I also put money on account for her to do the searches etc. but then had to instruct a new solicitor because the lenders I applied a mortgage for were going to cancel the application if I didn’t switch. All in all, a great inconvenience caused, and I know Frestons receive commission from the solicitor for referring new clients on and regrettably, even after providing Frestons the above feedback on my poor experience, I was not contacted by their directors to acknowledge it and/or offer to fix the issue. If they had offered to pass the commission on as a form of compensation for not doing enough due diligence on recommending an approved solicitor, I would have appreciated it. In reality, Naeman became the middleman between myself and the directors, who in effect, said they will learn from the experience.In conclusion, I highly recommend Naeman for property transactions with Frestons, emphasizing caution when considering their recommended solicitors. While there is room for improvement in certain aspects, Frestons, through agents like Naeman, demonstrates potential for growth and success.

These guys are no joke. They're all young, hungry, and they know the market just as well as the more established agents. They've come into the market with a plan to provide the best possible service and they know how to deliver.I went to them with a problem. My tenant was leaving me with a months notice and I was in a panic given the loss of income. I spoke to them, next day they took pictures and published the listing. On the day after, they'd had multiple enquiries. They hosted an afternoon of viewings the next day and we accepted an offer the day after that, and all for a very reasonable rate, which I was happy to pay.These guys are swift and professional.
