Memorable but not repeatable.£66.00 for an less than average burger, fries, rings and drink for 2 people.Chaotic kitchen with food lying under heaters, overcooked burger, tough in places, cold onion rings. Tasty enough burger patty, but small and underwhelming.Server was working hard and very efficient.Card only and 12.5% service charge.Needs to be better Gordon.

A mixed feeling about this restaurant. With Gordon’s name on the door, you expected a certain level of services with that price.Booked a table in advance. Upon arrival, no one at the reception and waited for five minutes. The kitchen staff at the open kitchen saw us and ignored us, not the best first impression for a restaurant. We seated by the window table and ordered the drinks. The coke arrived and tasted just like soda water (completed not sweet), I asked the manager to check if their machine is ok but he wasn’t too fuzzy about the quality and replaced another drink for me without any explanation.Food arrived, burger is quite average and nothing too special about it. In the other hand, the fries was good and so is the Orion ring. We ordered two types of chicken wing to share, it was over cooked and quite dried. The sauce for the wings were also quite disappointing.During the lunch service, the staffs were talking at the open kitchen area loudly and were not taking care of the service probably. On the other hand, as it is an open kitchen, I think the kitchen staff should not be checking on his phone ever few minutes in such an unprofessional way. With both experiences to this restaurant and the other Gordon’s restaurant in Edinburgh, I would recommend to go the other one instead of Street Burger. It maybe a bit more pricey, but at least the service standard was good and the quality of the food was much better.I think the management for Street Burger cannot just rely on Gordon’s name, instead better training for the staffs and maintain a minimum professional service standard is needed.Overall, we paid around 120 pounds for 4 persons and probably not the wise idea to come back again.

We had expected more. We had the #BAE burger with fries (£ 17 each). It was a quite ordinary Burger (besides the fried egg). The taste was ok. It was standard" fries. The add 12.5% to the bill by default!"

Expectations were high with a respected chef such as Gordon Ramsay having his name on the restaurant. I had the hell's kitchen burger, which was lovely and moist with just the right amount of spiciness to it. The chips too were among the best I've had as they were perfectly spiced. When they do not need salt it is a sign that they have been prepared correctly in my eyes. Also as a side I shared some onion rings, simply scrumptious, again better than anywhere else. To top it off I had a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was surprisingly light, a delightful way to end the meal. The service was also top notch, with one of the waiting staff noticing that we were tourists and asking about our time in Edinburgh. Gordon Ramsay should be proud of his restaurant, this was probably my nicest meal in this city!

We went to Street Burger as a last resort due to our other options having long queues, but we were pleasantly surprised during our visit. It’s £17 for a burger and fries combo. We were told to sit in the front upon arrival and were promised a table within 5min which did indeed happen. A lot of the burgers leaving the kitchen looked quite small. We ordered the #Bae and Full Scottish Burgers. We were disappointed to see that the Full Scottish does not come with Haggis, we therefore added Haggis separately to both burgers. The food came quick and the servers were nice. Thanks to the haggis both burgers were a decent size. It complimented the #Bae very well and was definitely essential for the Full Scottish. The fries were really delicious and a good portion too. Overall the food was a good size and quite tasty. However, as soon as you have upgrades, extra sides or a drink you will spend >£20 per person. Overall we were very happy.

£18 for 1 regular size burger and fries was expensive. I was expecting something really nice and a bigger size for this price. The curly fries were far too salty as well, the regular ones were ok. But yeah, nothing special that would warrant the £18 price tag.

Great potential, kinda pricey. The menu is amazing and the staff are helpful and kind. Just seems there isn't enough of them. I have to be fair here and mention that we did come in on a Friday night without reservation and were seated promptly, but it did take quite a long time for the food to come out.Unfortunately on this occasion the desserts got forgotten, but I'm sure that isn't a common issue, maybe just our luck.In the end we spent 60£ for two burgers, and two drinks, which admittedly tasted great but seemed just a touch pricey. Perhaps you have to pay for the name.I think we'd come back on a quieter day. The food and service was great.

Great place for tasty burgers. The next level burger is highly recommended. One burger and fries menu is 18£. This is way to expensive imo. I was lucky to get a 50% food discount during a student event, therefore the price was acceptable. But for the full price I would instead go for five guys or something else. The service is very friendly but the food was kinda slow to arrive. Still a nice experience for 50% off.

So we came to taste the Gordon’s burger. Not really sure what the hype is. Their chicken in burger is halal but not wings or anything else’s17£ for a burger and with drinks goes up to like 21£. Also had their loaded fries which were okay 8. Taste wise nothing special. Servings are small as well for the price. So not really worth it. There are much better burgers out there for half the price.
