Highly, highly recommend this service. Mike was fantastic and made the whole process straightforward. He was incredibly fast and helpful answering questions by email and followed up to check everything went well with the filing. Confirmation went through first time. Could not have been better.

Excellent service and finally received confirmation. However, very expensive. Although I'm aware solicitors charge so much more.. I do think the price should be graded on the complexity of the estate etc. Mine was fairly straight forward having 2 properties to include and I don't think there was alot of work involved. Of course guidance is essential as application for confirmation is so complicated. I found it difficult to understand all the instructions given - maybe that's just me - so had to pay a further £300 for the forms to be filled in for me. Pleased it's finally been accepted. A further £297 had to be paid to the Sheriffs court.. An expensive business!

A lawyer quoted me £3000 to help me apply for a grant of confirmation. I had done all the work and had all the information in front of me but I just didn't have confidence in completing the required form correctly. I had a call with Mike from My Probate Partner and I was immediately put at ease and decided to use their service to help me complete the form myself. A couple of hours with their online guides and I submitted my form to MPP for feedback, glad I did as I'd made a few silly errors. Submitted my form to the Sheriff court on the Wednesday and had my grant of confirmation on Friday. Saved myself around £2400! Thank you!

The C1 was approved at the first attempt after 4 weeks.I couldn't never have done this myself and having received quotes from lawyers for over 5 times what Mike charged, it really was an easy decision (and the correct one) to sign up to his service. I was getting really stressed trying to fill out the C1 form for my dad. His affairs were really simple and I didn't think justified paying a solicitor almost £4,000 to do. This is a great and trustworthy service. I had attempted to apply for confirmation on my own, using information from government websites. This was useless and wasted time. An excellent service was provided all round. The guides were clear and easy to follow for completing the forms and using the correct legalese. The check of the form picked up a few small but potentially crucial errors that I had made and emails sent to Mike were replied to quickly. My mother passed away this year and as executor I was faced with the unenviable task of applying for Confirmation. At first, I had no idea what this meant but after speaking with a local solicitor, was informed that they could take on the task of applying on my behalf. I was also informed that the cost would be in the thousands and the entire process would take somewhere between 9 and 15months to complete. However, after reading various Trust Pilot reviews and also speaking with Mike from MyProbate, I decided to sign up and employ their services.So, here we are two months later, and I have just received communication this week from the Court that my Confirmation application has been successful.If you are prepared to do the donkey work yourself. i.e work out the value of the estate and fill in the form, the entire process can be done for a very reasonable cost and in a very acceptable timescale.I have to say, the service provided by Mike and his Team at MyProbate has been truly exceptional. The reading and video material, as well as several completed C1 form examples that were made available via their portal enabled me to complete the C1 form in a short period of time with minimal pain. During this time, I was also able to speak with Mike and his team when looking for very specific advice on some of the legal-speak terms I needed to use. Finally, I downloaded my completed forms plus other documents that would be needed (e.g. copy of the will & death certificate) to their portal. This was all checked thoroughly by Mike and the MyProbate Team is just a few days and I was then in a position to take everything to the court in person. I can’t recommend this service highly enough when applying for Confirmation. My brother and I naively thought we could do this ourselves and spent a few frustrating weeks trying to get to grips with the C1 form before someone recommended Mike. The checklists, the templates, the step-by-step instructions were invaluable in cutting through the legalese and Mike answered all my queries promptly. There is no way we would have managed to complete the C1 form ourselves to the satisfaction of the Sheriff Court, especially the declaration with its specific esoteric language. Our form was accepted at the first attempt and Confirmation came through the following week. Thank you so much.
