Brora Golf Club
Brora is a fantastic golf course , both for location and for a test of your golfing skills. I was given a book with yardages , hazards and basically where to hit too from the starter lady , who was very nice and welcoming. The course is proper links , and the views are at time breathtaking. The sheep on the course give the feeling off real golf from history and the electric fences around the greens are soon taken for granted. The course is in great condition and if you are hitting straight and then you can really score well. Some off the greens are drivable as you are getting a great run on the fairways. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Gorgeous and unique links course on the ocean front in Brora. Greens, fairways snd tee boxes in great condition. Custom service at the pro shop and cafe/restaurant very friendly and helpful. Tee boxes all well placed, not just after-thoughts. The sheep on the course stayed over on the side of the course while we played. As there are sheep grazing here, each green is protected with a small electric fence.

Highly, highly recommended. Some of the best greens you will find anywhere. The front 9 has the best views but the back 9 has the beat holes in my opinion. The electric fences round the greens seemed odd at first to me but well worth it when they're in such good condition and all the animals are about.

Enjoyed playing this course. This is the 1 that had sheep and cows grazing right along the course. Had little electric fences around each green to keep livestock away. Very fun course

A Coastal Gem: Brora Golf Club in the North of ScotlandNestled in the stunning landscape of the North of Scotland, Brora Golf Club is a true coastal gem that offers an unforgettable golfing experience. One of the standout features of Brora Golf Club is its unique location next to the sea. The course provides golfers with breathtaking views of the coastline, and the sound of crashing waves adds a soothing backdrop to your game. The proximity to the sea creates an atmosphere that's both invigorating and serene. What sets Brora apart from many other courses is the unexpected but delightful presence of ships on the course. The sight of vessels passing by as you play is a rare and charming addition to the golfing experience. It's a reminder of the club's rich maritime history and adds a touch of authenticity to each round. While Brora Golf Club may be relatively short in terms of yardage, don't be fooled – it's incredibly challenging. The course demands precision and strategy, with narrow fairways and well-placed hazards. It's the kind of course that rewards accuracy over power, making it a true test of a golfer's skill.Beyond the course itself, Brora Golf Club provides a warm and welcoming clubhouse and excellent facilities. The friendly staff and the sense of community among members and visitors make it a fantastic place to relax after your round. In conclusion, Brora Golf Club in the North of Scotland offers a golfing experience like no other. With its stunning coastal location, the presence of ships, short yet challenging layout, and welcoming atmosphere, it's a must-visit destination for any golfer looking for a unique and memorable round.

Fantastic course just a shame I was playing in 35 mph winds. Favourite hole was 17 for the view and 18 for the tricky green, not what I needed at the end of a round. Plenty of sheep and cows on the course. It is a true links course and a must to play if you are in the Highlands area.
