It’s a great place to live. Amazing facilities on site and a close walk to uni and town centre. Clean & comfy rooms with really nice views of the river, staff always helpful and responsive. Would recommend any student to live here.

Living here as an international year for my first year of uni was all I could ask for and more. Stuff are super kind and friendly and where always willing to help. My room is super cozy and the view of the river from my window is definitely a plus. Can't wait to come back again for my second year.

Amazing place to live as a student. Just a few minutes away from railway station by walking and surrounded by nature and shops in the town centre, it is a very comfortable place with good space distribution, new and well kept facilities, nice bedrooms, spaces for recreation and relaxation from studies laundry room, gym, movies, etc. Lovely place and kind staff. Really worth it!

I absolutely loved my experience there. The place is really close to uni and just 15 minutes walk from Guildford town. My room was really clean and cozy, with views to the river, and the building had all the amenities I needed and more.As an international student, I always felt so welcomed and supported by the lovely stuff, and I got to meet loads of people from different places who also studied in Surrey University.Highly recommended ❤️

I have lived here for two years and I have mixed feelings. I came here expecting a great social experience but it didn’t really live up to this. While some of this could have been my doing, my friend also feels the same. Little was done to help us settle and meet new people, it seemed very down to us to do this from the start. This is fine but some fun parties or planned gatherings could help nervous students make new friends. We had one bankside-planned party this year and most people left early because it was a bit unorganised. If you’re a little socially awkward or need more guidance meeting new people I would probably suggest living at university or at an accommodation that helps more with this, as I spent a lot of my years here alone. I’m writing this review to maybe help a couple people avoid the experience I had. In short if you're good at making friends or fine being alone i'm sure you would be fine here. That being said, I had a lovely view and it was certainly nice and modern when I moved in. Also this was only my experience and others may feel differently.

Great location!! Very close to university and 10/15 minutes walk to city center. It is near to supermarket (Lidl). The room was very cozy and clean. All the communal areas are also clean and very pretty. I loved that it includes a gym!!!Staff are very friendly and always there to help!

Despite the construction delays and New Build issues here and there, the amazing facilities, unbeatable location from uni and great staff make Bankside a great place to live in!As the first batch of students living in the complex, we definitely experienced issues the first few months after moving in. Construction was delayed by a few months so we our morning alarms was basically heavy machinery, brick cutting and drilling noise. Similarly, the lift in Block C was out of service for a good number of weeks - tough for us living in the higher floors. We had a few issues with fixtures in some rooms - blinds falling and lightbulbs going out. Despite all this, the staff were attentive all throughout and tried to make the best of it.We’re definitely spoiled for events and other fun activities at Bankside, with regular Breakfasts and Coffee or seasonal decor welcoming us at the lobby. The staff are very kind and accommodating.It’s only a few minutes walk away from everything (town, train station, uni, grocery store, etc.) and the complex itself is very well-planned. While the on-site gym isn’t the best, there’s a The Gym just a short walk away. On-site laundry is provided by Circuit (sadly) but our parcel delivery system is pretty good.As an international student, finding a good place to live was very important - along with making new friends. I’m glad that the cluster apartment setup turned out alright for me as my flatmates are great!If you’re looking for a place to live in while you’re at the University of Surrey, I would consider Bankside Student Living a strong contender.

Absolutely great student digs, so many facilities in the units. Gym, launderette, cinema, video games room and a cafe.

Great quality accommodation with excellent staff. It's also close to town and the train station so it's a great place to live if you're outside a lot. Also very close to Uni of Surrey so you can sleep in before those 9ams !!

One of the best places to live if you’re attending the University of Surrey.Great location, decent size rooms and very helpful staff, especially Brooke who goes above and beyond to help out any student who needs her help.
