The Doghouse

I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to Ross for his time when i visited him with my dog poppi. He had her eating out of his hand (literally)I was awe struck by his professionalism and knowledge and his dog Sasha is amazing.Ross filled me with confidence knowing that I have found the right trainer to help me help poppi. I was also very proud of poppi I thought she did really well and was shattered when we got home. I would highly recommend The doghouse Sussex.

The Doghouse is so much more than a daycare and we could not recommend this place highly enough! We have a large breed Romanian rescue and had encountered real struggles with finding a suitable daycare for her before we found The Doghouse. On our first visit we knew we'd found the perfect place, we already had high expectations but somehow it still managed to surpass these. The grounds are absolutely stunning and Ross' knowledge and understanding in all things dog related really cemented that we'd found the right place. To date, Ross is the only person who has instantly recognised Dahlia's unusual breed, he truly understands the nature of the breed and all the quirks that come with it! We have seen a massive change in Dahlia since she joined The Doghouse last year, she has gained so much in confidence and really come out of her shell. The entire team are fantastic with her and it's lovely to see how excited Dahlia is to see them in the mornings when we drop her off. To Ross, Rachel, Charley and Matt - a massive thank you for all you have done and continue to do for Dahlia.

Great daycare for my dog cooper, Ross has also helped so much with training which we have seen so much improvement over the past year!

if you need help with training or your dogs behaviour, I can't recommend the doghouse enough, Ross has helped our nervous dog so much! we started with 1-2-1s and progressed to group sessions, which we still attend as our dog loves going!

Extreme experienced dog trainer, who knows what he's talking about. Well experienced with large breeds, but know they've also looked after and trained smaller breeds such as border terriers.Would highly recommend here for either training or day care.

I’ve been using the Doghouse for over a year now! I feel so lucky to have found them! My dog absolutely adores the whole team. They treat all the dogs in their care as individuals and it’s obvious the team love what they do! The facilities are amazing and I couldn’t think of a better place (other than her being at home!) for her to go! Keep doing what you’re doing - you’re all absolutely fabulous!!!

I must sing the praises of Ross George and Rachel Whitby (The Doghouse). I went to them last year with an 8 year old Collie cross who was extremely sound sensitive especially to gunfire. As we live near to a farm, we are often subjected to shooting especially in the winter months. My dog would be a quivering wreck unable to obey any commands. (He has been obedience trained to competition level). I got in touch with Ross who suggested a regime of getting him used to small sounds like a cap gun. Initially my dog was a complete wreck, quivering and trying to escape. Today after several months of training and habituation I can honestly say that he is over being gun shy. Todays shotgun was fired several times about 100 yards away and he wasn’t in the least bit bothered. It has only been with Ross and Rachel’s attentiveness that we have succeeded. My dog is living proof that with patience, understanding and perseverance that you can teach an old dog new tricks. I would thoroughly recommend The Doghouse for all your training be it in obedience or phobias.Maureen
