Not impressed with last night. We paid £25 each for food in the boatyard yesterday to see the fireworks. There was a marquee up and no seats outside until we sorted it. The potato was hard and a teaspoon of chilli juice was put on top, the caterer did not even bother to cut the potato!! No where near last years catering/atmosphere. Not value for money. Very disappointing.

I had my mum's wake at the Corinthian.(They have recently changed hands.)I spoke to a lovely lady called Daisy who arranged everything for me.She really listened to what I wanted and reassured me.She was very patient. The food was really great, hot and cold buffet at a good price.I wanted a cheese board. It was no problem. The cheeses were all local. The venue itself was lovely Very private just us.Beautiful sea views from the windows.Lovely balcony. They had a great bar.The staff were friendly and very helpful.I wanted a venue with wheelchair access. It was perfect. A ramp for everyone to use.I would recommend them 100 percent.

Great location and decent food but let down by untrained staff who don't know the basics. We had the Sunday carvery which was fine but the waiting staff didn't understand a) why we'd be interested in knowing where the wine had come from b) that stacking other peoples' dirty plates on yours whilst still in front of you is wrong, and c) that you don't start clearing the table whilst people are still eating.

The club is in a perfect location, overlooking Plymouth Sound. This really is picturesque on a sunny day.Food is served and is very good, especially the roasts. Drinks are very reasonable, especially for the location. The whole building is available for hire for functions. The major concern is the member of staff who organises the weddings. I have personal experience of dealing with her and I know of others. She is extremely poor in her organisational skills, leaving things to the last minute.Sadly, she is also very rude.I have given the club three stars as I do not want to be biased in my review. Visit this place if you want a drink or food in a glorious location. If you are thinking of booking a wedding reception here, my advice is to steer well clear.

Attended a private party. Bar staff were very friendly and professional. The place was very clean. The food was the best food I've ever had at a party. A mix of hot and cold, beautifully prepared. Great location.

Fantastic place and views. Pity about the very steep ramp. They will help but for people in electric chairs it will be struggle

Came to this venue for a christening. Spotted my friend's yacht from the roof terrace outside. Bar had doombar and thatchers haze which is proper. I loved sitting in the sun but some people went inside saying it was too hot because there was no parasol. Overall very good.

Attended an event for which the venue was hired. Good views of the sea but otherwise resembles a run down cadet hut. Bar well stocked but food was bland and cakes a little dry and flavourless. One guest managed to get in on wheelchair but complained it wasn't easy.
