Today was the first time we ordered from here the food was very bland and was tastless, the crispy beef was rubbery, the chicken in the noddles was very floppy and processed. Dumplins deep fried so nothing left on the inside. Delivery on time but due to food quality we won't use again.

I absolutely love this place and will continue coming here as long as they are in business!The portion sizes are what sets them apart for me, but the flavour in their dishes are pretty authentic and without a doubt delicious.The prices recently went up but that is to be expected, however, their menu prices are not up to date so keep that in mind once you order!

Ordered food very bland , small potions, black bern sauce tasted like soap, no prawn crackers given, in all a poor meal not much pride in there food won't use these again.

Order regular from here, best tasting food i have had in a long while.portions are very generous and the curries are epic!

Tried to call the takeaway before ordering to ask some questions. No one would pick up. I ordered on just-eat and the prices seem reasonable/average. Ordered at 19:45 and it said estimated delivery 20:50.At 20:50 it said my order had been successfully delivered but it hadn’t (presumably to meet some delivery quota). I called and called with no luck getting through to someone. Just as I was about to get in the car and go to the place the food turned up at 21:10I ordered chicken chow mien, chips and “hot and spicy” curry sauce. The curry sauce tasted okay, but not hot and spicy. I don’t fall out with it too much because it tasted fine. The chow mien was cold, but tasted okay, I can imagine fresh it’s quite decent. Chips were beyond cold and bland, had to bin them.I wouldn’t swear off a place like this but I’ll be trying others before going back. I’m new to the area and I’ve since asked neighbours and friends who all agree that this takeaway is ‘unreliable’. Very friendly service and food was lovely 1st time customer will be returning

Unfortunately one of the worst Chinese orders I have had.This was our first time trying here, we requested for the Char Siu chow mein to have no vegetables, and for a different sauce in our special box. not usually a difficult ask when we’ve ordered from other Chinese takeaways.After waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes for our order (this was after calling for an update) the delivery driver was rude, ringing the door bell and knocking repeatedly. When our food arrived it was incorrect, cold and on further inspection not all of it cooked as it should be. The noodles in the Chow Mein’s tasted stale and old and the chicken balls had raw batter in the centre with a very small amount of chicken in them.I did call to discuss my concerns about my order to which I was told don’t worry and “next time” it will be better. However there will not be a next time based on this service. I was told over the phone I would receive a refund for my order but based on our conversation I am not very hopeful of this.I would never order from here again and recommend that if you wanted a fresh and timely takeaway order then please look for another Chinese restaurant.

Been using mayflower since around may 2021 and they by far are the best we have ever used. So friendly, accommodating, and quick with orders. Not had an issue and they even give us some nice freebes every now and then. Always a pleasure ordering from them!

Ordered food which was one hour later than stated on the order. Part of the order was missing. The food that did arrive was nice and still warm but really disappointed food was missing and late arrival time

Ok food but delivery time is abismal.Arrival times up to half hour late. Just had our last delivery due to this. Shame
