Played here today 27/01/23 & to be honest the “green fee” of £25 for a weekday rate was far too high as we didn’t use a “green” as they were all temporary. So the “green fee” was a fairway fee. That said. The temps weren’t even cut shorter than the fairways. Nice course in summer. Shan’t be returning until spring. Not. VFM in my opinion. £15 max.

Very nice course. Quite tough unless you know the course. Back 9 better than the front 9 in my opinion. Well worth a visit.

By far the worst course I have ever played.every green was on a temp accept the famous 15a with scenery of Eckington storage at the side a challenging 80 yard par 3.winter tees are in the most ridiculous places, absolute joke.if the guy in the club shop would have informed us there was 18 temps (apart from the scenic 15a) we wouldn't have bothered, the club shop looks like it was burgled overnight.AVOID IT.green keepers setting fires next to holes and the temps are absolute dogga.

Greens fantastic. But so much dead grass keep loosing balls in the ruff just off the fairways litters bins full of rubbish all just needs attention and care

Course in a bit of a rough condition for August, especially for the prices charged. Greens not consistent, chewed up and quite frankly disappointing. The road crossing is also readily dangerous with it being on a blind corner. Also, the putting green is really small, can accommodate 3 at once maximum. The practice ground was knee high grass, so didn’t bother. Expensive pro shop prices for the food and drink too.

You have heard the expression 'you only find out how good and anyone one is when things go belly up!' Well as Captains day was approaching I was informed that they had a major problem with their kitchen which meant that hot food could not be prepared on our 3rd Sept 22 Captains day. The team at Renishaw pulled out all the stops and provided food via outside catering. A superb breakfast, fish and chips for tea followed by apple pie and custard. Clearly they lost money on the food provision but 28 golfers were not let down. Oh, the golf was great tooA course of two halves, you need to play it to understand what I mean!. A lovely course and exceptional hopitality.

Played here and joined not long afterwards. We were a bit wary at first as it has the reputation of being wet in the winter. I’ve played nowhere any drier than here this winter and it’s fairways are fantastic. If you’re thinking of playing/joining here you won’t be disappointed. The members are a friendly bunch and it’s like millionaires golf virtually all the time, no messing about with waiting on tees and putting balls down and no stupid five hour rounds which is fantastic. I was a member at Worksop GC and never thought I’d say I’d be happier being a member at Renishaw Park GC than at WGC but I am and it’s fairways are way better than WGC and the club also thinks it’s member are a valuable part of the club, unlike WGC. Give it a try at RPGC, you won’t be disappointed and don’t wait until the summer either, it’s great atm.

Visited here yesterday. The front 9 is tight and tough, if you hit the rough you've lost your ball. Second 9 more open. It's a very playable course but the whole experience is very let down by the club house, no food at all, it was locked when we arrived and couldn't get a coffee. Apparently the course is rarely open in the winter due to flooding, but I cannot validate that.

This course was in such a bad condition today. I’ve never played a course where all 18 greens were on temps. In fact I wouldn’t even call them temps more a random hole cut in some grass, nowhere near the original green. The temp tees were also poor, covered in gravel and mud and nowhere near the original tees some temp tees turned par 4’s into par 3’s which is just ridiculous. There was a £5 discount applied for temp greens but £15 was still probably £10 more than they should be charging. And as for the 12th a embarrassing 100yard par 3, which should have been a par 4, you would have been lucky to see the “green” for the smoke caused by a fire they decided to have. The 8th was out of play which also was never mentioned, we had to be told by the group behind us. Which led us to have to play a “15a” hole. The club shop looked like it had been ransacked with all of 3 bottles of water and some snickers from a multi pack. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone you’d be better playing the par 3 pitch and putt at rother valley.
