Tedds Tree Surgeon

Had our usual work done - including large conifer hedge, wild cherry tree and a viburnum hedge. Always professionally done, and a fair price. Dave and his wife are proper grafters and are always friendly. We've been using Tedds Tree Services for several years now and they always do a great job.

Excellent service from Dave and co from start to finish, cutting down huge sycamore and removing stump/roots, great job well done. Recommend to anyone to use him. Thanks Dave. Phil.

Very impressionable husband and wife team properly and professionally set up to cut down and remove intrusive llelandi. They tidy as they go and work to a high standard.I found Tedds on-line and approached them after many unsolicited knocks on my door with cheaper prices, but instilling little confidence that the waste would be legally disposed of.

I've now had Dave help on two separate gardens. Both times he's been incredibly accommodating of my vague and changing needs . Both gardens needed a lot doing to them and it was only after one layer of growth had been chopped back could we see what was needed next.Leaves the place nice and tidy, makes good recommendations and a pleasure to have around.

Not impressed. Chainsaw used for everything, trees butchered.I can't see how to reply apart from editing the review, Mr Tedd, but the work was done late winter/early spring last year (2018) and yes, you did indeed work with your wife. The pear tree was over-pruned so that there were only stumps left of the main branches and it's only just recovering. We also had you top a line of conifers and cut back and shape a large conifer, which we knew would probably die, but both were left rather ragged and straggly, with the line of conifers rather uneven. I should have said something at the time but tried to find your website to contact you and was unable to locate it. My husband has just found your details on a routine clearing out of his mail, which is why the review is so late.

Excellent service. We had two large conifers removed and a tree pruned. They are so friendly and helpfull and we would highly recommend if you want a very efficient, clean and tidy job done.Very happy Tedds are the best.

Prompt and polite and got the job done. But very disappointed with care and due diligence of garden in the process. Unfortunately left a load of mess which now requires a skip to remove, as well as damaged border cobbles. We also found sharp shards of stone embedded in our artificial grass that had been cut up by the stump grinder. With 2 young children the garden is now out of bounds until we get this cleared. All in all very unhappy with the end product and left us with more work to get it sorted properly.

I will not recommend this company..I called them on Thursday (19th August) and was told by a female that I would get a call back in 30 minutes from Ted. About 4hrs later, no call back so I called, spoke to Ted and gave him my address. He said he would come round to have a look at the tree that evening. Unfortunately, he did not show up.I called on Saturday and left a voice message and until today, no one has had the courtesy to call me back. Very unreliable company in my view.

We received excellent service from Dave. Got a competitive price to do the work which was done in quick time. The garden now looks excellent and we got just what we wanted. Thanks again Dave and speak to you soon.
