Wonderful wildlife reserve. If you are a dog owner, please take note of the signs asking for dogs to be kept on a short lead, they cause significant disturbance to wildlife even if they stay close to the path.

This is a lovely wood to walk around. The car park is well maintained and there is a bin there - there weren't any on the route we took so dog walkers be aware - the initial pathway is also well maintained and it wasn't muddy. At the cross section with the bridal path it does become a little steep but it gets the heart pumping. You can veer off and cross a fast road to get to the Avon and walk straight through to Pershore but we came back to the wood and took a lesser used path through the wood to meet back on the main path further down. This was a little muddy as it had rained the night before however it was easily passable. It wasn't extremely busy, mostly couples, some with dogs. Our walk was over an hour with the detour to the river. All paths seemed worn well enough to navigate and all paths lead back to a main path eventually so you can't get lost. Can't wait to go back and try out other routes. Our dog did pick up a tick but as it is that season we checked her over and spotted it. It is now a deceased tick.

Lots of woodland to explore. You can use the wide gravel paths or take a more challenging walk through the woodland. This is a really clean and quiet woodland to explore for everyone.

Pleasant woodland to stroll through. We stuck to the gravel tracks as we noticed some of the trails were quite muddy. Carpets of bluebells were an impressive sight along with occasional cowslips and primroses. Well worth a visit.
