Do yourself a favour, and CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY.It was such an unpleasant experience. The staff, that was supposed to help me moving in, was unprepared, careless, unprofessional and misleading as they assigned me another storage after the payment was done.Basically, to make sure all was ready for brining my boxes in as quick as possible in the afternoon (I was renting a Van so I had limited time), I did the check-in online and I went there a couple of hours before to do whatever was left - i.e. viewing the storage room, etc.Moreover, I made sure they knew that I was coming back after a few hours to do the moving, and I asked if everything was ready contract-wise. They assured me that it would be a very quick and smooth process as the only thing left was the payment and the signature. (Yeah sure....)It took them a ridiculous amount to ONLY do those 2 things. They didn't have anything ready! 1) The quote they gave me was not matching the one on the contract, 2) they hadn't inserted my data in the contract, so they had to do it manually with me there... And meanwhile I couldn't start to bring my stuff in the room because they wouldn't give me my code, hence I got charged by the Van company an additional £50 as a late return fee" (Thank you very much!).3) AFTER I paid and signed the contract; they told me they assigned me a DIFFERENT STORAGE

Eltham is extremely lucky to have a team like they do. The staff go above and beyond to help. From the friendly faces that greeted us in the reception area to the quick email responses and helpful information provided throughout. I could not be happier. The facilities also deserve a mention as they are kept exceptionally clean.

A VERY POOR AND DISTRESSING EXPERIENCE. MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS WAS INITIALLY PLACED INTO STORAGE BY FRAUDSTERS WHO LIED THAT THE GOODS STORED BELONGED TO THEMSELVES! THE STAFF WAS NOT SYMPATHETIC TOWARDS MY PLIGHT AS I WAS DENIED ACCESS TO MY GOODS STORED FOR OVER 7 WEEKS. I WAS EVENTUALLY FORCED TO TAKE ON A STORAGE LICENCE IN MY NAME UNDER DURESS BEFORE I COULD GAIN ACCESS TO MY FAMILIES BELONGINGS!AT AN EXORBITANT COST OF OVER £1062 PER MONTH! THIS MATTER SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE POLICE BY THE BIG YELLOW AS FRAUD. BUT THEY TOOK NO ACTION!

First time I’ve used any sort of storage facility. The check-in process was absolute fantastic and the pricing plan very fair. Adeola was such a great representative of the company and explained everything really clearly. She really was a massive help! I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for easy and convenient storage.

Karen was great, she helped us get set up quickly and efficiently.But you do have to bring your own padlock or buy one

Been here for a few years now and the staff here are great. Customer care and service is priority to them. I've used a few of their competitors and by far, Big Yellow are a better company. They're much more professional, providing a better experience all round.
