Parkanaur Manor House

Very beautiful place to visit. Kids enjoyed seeing the deers so close. Beautiful creatures to admire. Early March the daffodils will be in full bloom (THERE'S MILLIONS OF THEM!!!)

Wonderful walk during summer when wildflowers are in bloom. Always check out the garden, where you can buy potted plants.

Beautiful forest park to walk around. The park is well kept with some stunning views of the Manor House and grounds. Walking through the deer enclosure is great fun. Highly recommend a visit here.

Brilliant place for a walk along the many paths. Plenty of trees to climb and lots of nature to look put for. There are picnic tables throughout and toilets available as well.Loads of little trails off the main paths here, great for exploring.

Lovely place for a relaxing walk, beautiful setting and not too strenuous.

Get place for a nice long walk went yesterday with the kid n missus, nice walk.

Small park but if you are nearby is worthy.

Beautiful historic house, forest trails, river walks and garden centre in Parkanaur, near Castlecaulfield. There are 3 colour coded walks, which all bring you back to the carpark. The blue path is a 1.4km circular walk that follows the river and a small waterfall. The red trail is a 1.1km circular walk that takes you through the deer enclosure and around the outside of the house. The black trail is a 1.2km circular walk that follows the river, passes a pond and a well to St Patrick. It's possible to combine all 3 walks and take a look around the walled garden centre in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. The pond was full of frogs that were spawning and croaking really loudly. There are good toilet facilities, seats and picnic tables.
