Zikora Day Nursery and Preschool

My son has been going to Zikora Day Nursery for well over a year now and he loves it. He continued to go over the first lockdown which was brilliant for us as we are key workers. It also helped him stay in routine. Mohammed (nursery manager) and staff have always been amazing, however sinceCovid they went above and beyond! I feel really fortunate to have found this nursery for my son and would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Our son had an amazing year at Zikora. His social and cognitive skills really progressed, and he had a great bond with Mohammed and the team, who clearly genuinely care about all the children they look after. It is also incredible value, particularly when compared to alternatives in the area.Unfortunately we moved out of London, otherwise we would have stayed much longer, and sent our other children too!

Our daughter has been attending the baby room at Zikora Day Nursery and the standard of care, since day one, has been fantastic.The team in the baby room really get to know the children and offer each one of them their own individual level of care, with a firm understanding of what’s required to engage with them and subsequently help them develop and grow.It’s very clear how fond the children are of the staff, and there’s an obvious bond between them all, which is incredibly heartening to see. Because of this, our daughter looks forward to going to nursery each day, and comes home with a smile on her face. Since starting at Zikora, we have seen her social skills and personality develop so much, and she has blossomed in other areas as well - we can only recommend them to other parents.

My son joined the nursery 2 months before turning 2 years old and attended for about 9 months, when we sadly had to move out of the area. Removing him from the nursery was absolutely the worst part of our move. He was so happy everyday. Mohammed, Alka, Sadiqa, Hadiqa, Margaret, Zara and everyone else we met during those 9 months are just simply brilliant. Mohammed is not only a fantastic manager but also extremely good with the children, I was so impressed. I never had any issues and always felt like he was in the best care while I was at work.Almost a month since we've moved and I still feel like Zikora was a gem compared to any other nurseries we visited. The stimulation room and all the animals are such a great addition that I haven't found elsewhere. All activities they carry out with the children have their learning development in mind which is great, I could see my boy developing so much while at Zikora.Plus the nursery is open 7am-7pm which allowed me to keep working full time, but still the fees were the most affordable I could find.I am so gutted my son can no longer attend but I do wish them the best in the future, as they so truly deserve for taking such wonderful care of our little ones.

We enrolled our 2 yr old daughter to Zikora when we moved into the area and we've been thoroughly impressed and forever grateful to the fantastic Zikora team. We're gutted to be moving, as we'll be hard pressed to find another nursery like them.They have created a wonderful, holistic, and conducive environment where children are not only taught numbers, letters, and motor skills, but also how to be kind and caring as to one another, looking out for the younger groups when they have combine play.I love it when my daughter came home telling me this older child helped her tie her apron, another older child shared the toys he was playing and now she's one of the older children and it's her turn to be kind to the younger ones.They have very detailed and in-depth learning programs for each age group and beautifully logged experiences and photographs of my child. Reading each log always brings a smile to my face.The Zikora team is always thinking up of new experiences to add fun to learning. They recently put an indoor play bus" together and even created a busstop

My DS went to Zikora at 13 months and stayed there until 2.7 yo, when we moved out of London. I am very grateful for the care he received there. He has learned how to count, recite the alphabet, and sing many songs. In the nursery children learn to plant flowers and vegetables, then see them grow and sometimes make a dinner from them! It’s amazing! I don’t know any nursery in East London which does this. My son comes from the nursery and starts to take off and put on his shoes and coat by himself!The manager Mohammed is very dedicated and strives to provide new interesting and educational activities such as pottery and wood work. The staff who looks after kids are fantastic and very supportive. They suggested for a long time I start to potty train DS, which I had thought him too young for, but thankfully I took their advise and with their support he is now fully trained (except for his nightly sleep).I would definitely recommend Zikora Day Nursery to everyone who wants good care and great development for their child while they work.

I am so happy I have found Zikora! First thing that impressed me as a parent was Mohammed's enthusiasm for teaching kids in variety of skils. Later on when I had the chance to meet the staff I saw the same enthusiasm in all of them. My boy now 3years is being at the nursery for a year and the difference is priceless. They helped him to settle in such a short period; gave him enough time and love to fill safe and start eating there (without pushing him); very, very supportive with the potty training period (huge thank you!). When he started at the age of 2, he was able to say no more than 15-20 words, now I can't stop him chating. The level of confidence, socializing, English (not our native language), motor skills and so many other got improved thanks to the staff's hard work.Every person from the staff is fast responsive, if any questions or concerns from my side, staff is there for me answering and explaining.Discipline is another importent thing to me and I can see it is so to the nursery staff. They achieve it with lots of love and politeness towards the kids.The education proces at the nursery is present in easy, fun and interesting to the kids way. My boy is in love with the woodwork and pottery worksops. Every day he comes back home with something new that he learned at the nursery.

My son attended Zikora from the age of 8.5 months for around one year and it was such a great experience. The nursery is extremely good value, even though it seems to be more spacious and have better facilities than other nurseries in the area. Additionally, it has very long opening hours which is very helpful for working parents.Children are able to participate in a wide variety of activities even from a very young age. I really appreciated Mohammed's enthusiasm and dedication, he is very passionate about his work and always coming up with new creative ideas to stimulate and develop the children. The rest of the team are great as well, always cheerful and giving some feedback about how the day went. I always felt well informed about what my son was doing while he was there, and how he was developing.I am very glad we chose Zikora and would definitely recommend it to other parents looking in the area.

Zikora was such a wonderful place for our daughter. The nursery workers there are compassionate, accommodating, and seem to genuinely love their jobs.Our daughter joined when she was 10 months old and she developed so much in their care. Even though Lucy was only at Zikora for 7 months (we moved out of London), she developed a real bond with the team there. Mohammed, Nellie, and Alka in particular were wonderful with her - even 3 months later, she still says their names and grins.And, of course, you can't beat the price. It's the cheapest nursery we've come across (either in London or in Kent, where we now live), but there's no compromise on quality.We would give more than 5 stars if we could.
