First time off roading, everyone is incredibly helpful, nice little food van to get some snacks, highly recommend the place. All manor of vehicles and very much open to you just having a go.

Great place for vehicle off roading, huge quarry with different areas for different challenges.Toilets are awful though, not maintained or cleaned often.

As a regular user of Tixover Quarry in the past and a participant in many of Vince's safari's over the years ( having now ceased offroading due to ill health) i can vouch for the valuable experience that Protrax gave me .Some amazing snow safari's among many welsh trips tought me the essential skills honed into what makes a competent 4x4 driver. I have added a few quarry shots of my old ex sas ( lpg converted) rangie .
