Went on Wednesday night around 19:30 and there was a line up, probably waited 30 minutes for a table. Was very excited to try this place and see what all the hype is about. It’s a set menu so ofcourse the salad was just a standard salad with a mustard flavor dressing which was an ok for me, and the entree the steak and frites, I liked the frites they were thin cut which I like and cooked perfectly with some crisp. The I got the steak rare which was cooked perfectly and the meat was so tender and juicy and flavorful. The sauce, I tasted abit of mustard in the sauce as well which was ok to me, I always thought the sauce was some type of peppercorn cause, but I’m not much a fan of mustard which maybe leaned my tastebuds the other way. I ordered the chocolate cake desert which wasn’t what I expected, it was dry and hard, kinda disappointed in it. Overall it was a good experience I enjoyed it. The staff were working hard cause it was so busy but they did an excellent job. Glad I got to try this place!

If this restaurant was only rated on dessert, I’d give it a 10/10. The profiteroles were outstanding! But the main dish didn’t fully live up to the hype.We queued on a Tuesday evening for over an hour! I gathered from the friend I went with that this is a part of the “experience.” Service was fast but the servers seem rushed off their feet!Considering steak and chips is the only option on the menu, I was hoping that it would be special. A second portion was automatically put on our plate (and it was confirmed that third servings aren’t an option), so the portions are generous! Food comes around in a big batch for the table and topped up for your plate, so it has a kind of “school dinners” vibe.However, the chips were average and the steak was of a similar standard to other chains!

The food here is simply amazing!They only have one set menu which starts with a salad and then the star of the show which is the steak and fries. In addition, they ask if you want your steak medium or rare and you can repeat the steak and fries 2/3 times.I really enjoyed the sauce, it tastes like peppercorn sauce with mustard and I would come back for it alone.I finished the meal with some of their desserts. The profiteroles with dark chocolate are 10 out of 10. Also tried their ice creams and the cinnamon one is amazing! This restaurant is a great place to come for a celebration or a catch up with friends. If you go make sure you are there when they open as the queue forms really fast. When I arrived i got a table immediately but a 45 minute queue is expected if you show up after they open.Most of the staff is really welcoming and I would give my experience a 9/10.

Wonderful dining experience in town! No need to choose what to eat! Only one set menu available for less than £30 including a starter salad, steak and chips. Excellent value and perfect house wine! Efficient service and you just need to let them know blue, rare, medium or well done for the steak.Everything was so good especially the unforgettable house sauce! Will definitely come back again!

Great food, very nice portions. The steak is so much better if cooked rare.Staff were nice & quite accommodating which is to their credit, taking to into account how busy it is.You would to have to queue, but that’s part of the experience.The house wine is pretty decent as well.

Totally Recommended if you're a steak lover.They have a set menu only for lunch... this included a salad with mustard dressing, pieces of a classis French baguette, the steak is served either rare, medium or well done, no in between here! We went for teh rare and it was perfect. You can add on drinks and desserts!The servers were delightful, quick and happy faces.You need to wait in a queue to get a sear as they dont take reservations but totally worth the wait.

Nowadays this place racks up queues which can take over an hour. Luckily I was able to get a table after a half an hour wait.I have been to l'Entrecote several times in the past (other branches included) and never have they failed to impress.A simple menu, excellently cooked steaks, crispy fries and wonderful desserts to choose from!The sauce, service and atmosphere all provide a great supplement to a wonderful evening.Well worth the wait if you're looking for great quality and value steak frites in town!

Food, atmosphere and service was absolutely perfect. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Queues are slightly long I’d recommend arriving before opening to be seated otherwise you will have to wait for minimum 40 minutes outside.Thank you!

Le Relais de Venise l'Entrecôte
We came here on a Saturday evening and only had time to queue for around 10 or so minutes. The steak is either done rare, medium or well done (no medium rare). The set menu for £29 is great as they top up your plate when you've finished your first portion. Their signature sauce goes perfectly with the steak. I would recommend giving this place a go.
