Sanna beach is a paradise. That you drive through the magma chamber of an extinct volcano is just the icing on the cake.Be aware of travelling by motorcycle, the miles and miles of single track road you use to get there has mucho loose gravel

Sanna Beach is beautiful. It's quite a walk from the car park but well worth it. Look out for the heilan coos in Sanna. Also on the way to Sanna, thet are free roaming so you may get stuck in a Highland Coo traffic jam.

It's a nice place but there are better beaches in Scotland without the tortuous drive to get there. If the car park is full then the sign suggests that you come back another day - despite being about 4 days travel from home.Unless you're a sheep, or have a holiday home here, it's not the most welcome place. No litter bins here or apparently anywhere else on the peninsula.

Prepare yourself for a long and sometimes difficult drive. Lots of single track with passing places. Campervans can get there. No overnight parking or obvious wild camping. You drive through the remains of massive volcanic activity. Its truly wild and you feel like you are quite cut off.The big reward is at the end of the track. A truly stunning beach with beautiful bays and rock formations.Great place to swim and seemed safe for the kids out on the water.
