Riverside Veterinary Care

For 1st visit was brilliant. I was worry with some symptoms that my little dog have. Call and they accept to see me on the same day, was far was I know the Veterinary have done the best She knows yo find the problem of my little one. For now I'm happy with the visit. And of crouse I recommend the place.

Riverside vets used to look so nice with comfortable seating and nice pictures and things up on the wall. What made this vet so nice and friendly was seeing photos of the staff with their pets up on the wall. Made customers feel more at ease seeing the staff showing their pets and the love they have for their own animals. It made customers feel more at ease knowing their pets will be cared for. Now, riverside vets have hard seating, no pictures up, nothing about their staff on display for customers. More clinical looking now than a welcoming comfortable place for customers. Plus, there are way too many new staff members, which is hard for a customer to build up loyalty with regarding their pets. Real shame the new design/makeover didn't consider its customers. They used to sell a good few pet items, too. But even this has gone. Real shame. The attached photos show the good old days. Real sad shame not like this now .They have extended the waiting room area which I was informed they were going to have the large section for dog's and small section for cats. They said they'll be putting signs up to inform customers of the dog and cat areas. This still has not been done. Everytime I come here with my cat I see people with dog's sitting in both areas so I sit in my vehicle with my cat so he does not get frightened by the dogs. Seems a bit unfair that my cat has to wait outside as of other customers being selfish with there dog's sitting in the cat area. I also blame riverside for not putting the dog and cat area signs up. Plenty of room for improvement with this vet's. As said. Was so much nicer before this renovation work was undertaken. Does not feel customer friendly now. Nothing worse than sitting on a hard plastic chair with nothing to read from the walls and not even a magazine available for customers to read whilst they wait long periods over there appointment times to have there pet seen. They used to have magazines for customers and things of interest on the walls to read. But not anymore. Really such a shame. Whoevers idea it was to make these changes needs there head examined...Also very expensive here compared to other vets. I guess with all the new staff they need to now pay, they need more money for staff wages so that falls on the poor customer paying well over the odds for there pets to be treated or checked. Doesn't seem to be any positiveness towards the customer.. I am certainly not impressed. But unable to visit any other vet as riverside is the only one local to me.

The care that the girls here have given my beautiful duchess is more than I could ever hoped for. They have been beyond wonderful and I am so grateful. Am glad they're her vets!

Since registering my cocker spaniel with the surgery, I have received a welcoming, friendly and professional service. They have helped us when we in need and looked after our pet with compassion and kindness.

Best vets in ebbw vale we took our cat there for her check up and we would not go else where. Friendly staff and vet is very patient with our fur baby .

They are wonderful and caring with our cat Mya. Mya had had some health concerns and the vets were really proactive in getting to the bottom of her problems and Mya is really well again. We have always gone to them and Mya is our 3rd furbaby in 30 years.

Very busy when we arrived but the veterinary care my dog received was excellent as usual

DONT USE THIS VETERINARY PRACTICE!!! been a customer for over 20 years. paid almost £36000 in bills an fees over that time. They won't register a new pet of mine and want to charge close to £100 for a dog wormer because they say she needs a consultation. SHE DOES NOT! she is healthy and is due a wormer. DOES NOT CARE! RUDE RECEPTIONIST. BAD VETS!

Since registering my Goldendoodle with the surgery, we have received a welcoming, friendly and professional service. The pet plan has proved to be great value. Would highly recommend for peace of mind.

The veterinary care is actually very good but often the wait times can be a bit much. I've never waited less than ten minutes, despite arriving either early or on times with a distressed cat in his carrier. Staff are very friendly.
