Always very helpful in this shop, many different varieties of fish to choose; from marine to tropical, many different sized aquariums to choose from also

I took my 2 year old granddaughter to see the fish. Of course she wanted to feed them.A machine offered food for £1. Not bad I thought until I purchased and the smallest amount possible was delivered into a misleadingly large pot. Absolute ripoff.Do not buy food to feed the fish.

Incredible amount of stock of cold water, tropical and marine. Also they have aquariums, ponds, koi, ornaments. Plants. A hugely diverse selection. Very helpful staff too who helped advise us on what fish we could put with which. I took the kids and they were there for hours. You can buy pellets to feed the giant coy. Well worth a visit. It was a 17 mile drive for us but well worth going. Will be getting all of our fish and shrimps here in future.

Fantastic selection of fish here, probably the best in Kent. with a wide variety of accessories and tanks. located conveniently in the garden centre which has a great toy section (though pricey) and a kids playground.

I had the pleasure of being served by a gentleman named David.David is a great example of customer care, when I visited I was unsure of what I needed, I explained my situation to David and with immediate effect he was able to advise and point me in the right direction, not only did David provide a great attitude with the service, but he went above and beyond for my requirements.Considering how busy it was when I visited, David was able to multi task, allowing me to continue with my shopping, whilst serving other customers with the same initiative, positive mindset, and innovative problem solving ideas.I like the fact that he was honest, he didn't know the answer to every question I asked, but he knew the man who did and keenly advised them to step in to answer any others queries I had.Maidenhead Aquatics at Poll hill appear to have a well kept aquarium, they had the right procedures in place to give the customers the safest experience with social distancing.I would highly recommend this branch, as I witnessed it at the time, they were very busy, with minimal stuff which I understandable in these challenging times, but they still upheld a positive customer setting.Thanks for the good experience.

Honestly I’m really not sure what has happened to this place in the last few months. There are so many dead fish in the tanks and the ones that aren’t dead look malnourished, have ick, clamped find, swim bladder issues and lots of fin rot. I purchased some fish as i had gone that far and knew i had medication at home and may have been able to save them/give them a MUCH better home than the one they are in.I got home and one of the fish had sadly already passed away in the bag (and was not the correct fish i asked for- i still would have loved to have given him a good life though).The store smells as soon as you walk in, i cannot BELIEVE how ill and sickly all the fish were and how none of the staff seemed to notice or maybe just not care.There are so many other options now that are better than here, there is a large aquarium shop in Swanley who's fishes are cared for, they may cost a fraction more but they are healthy, well fed and you dont have to spend an arm and a leg to make them better.One of the worst aquariums i have ever been too, not sure how the other people are giving this place 5 stars, i really wish i had taken pictures of the sickly fish so that i could report them. This is literally animal abuse, the poor little things :(
