I’ve been coming to avenues since I moved to Braintree in 2016. I’m always really happy with the quality of my haircut and very good value for money. I get really good advice and high quality hair products from here as well. The team are lovely and it’s always nice being able to chat to Pam and Imogen while I’m there. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The owner has a terrible attitude, extremely rude and very confrontational. Known to be abusive, would never recommend especially to people looking for work.

Staff are friendly, patient and welcoming. I've recently started visiting due to moving to the area and on separate occasions taken my children who are petrified of having hair cut to visit. The lady who performed theirs and my cuts were lovely. Will make this my little local hairdressers now xx

Honestly, it doesn't even deserve a star.Such a bigoted and harsh environment. Unprofessional and utterly revolting. Their behaviour AND speech was abusive, cruel and ignorant. Don't even bother going.

*AVOID*The owners behaviour is absolutely awful!I was with an apprentice who was learning how to wash hair and I had to sit through a torrent of abuse directed at the apprentice, where the owner was airing her out dated opinions on mental health. All while unbeknown to her I am a healthcare professional and what she was saying was not only extremely unprofessional but exceptionally disturbing. Then once the apprentice told her they are transgender, the apprentice had more abuse hurled at them and fired from their position.This is outrageous behaviour!AVOID THIS HAIR SALON

Had to sit through digs about the poor condition of my hair from the manager. The young lady who cut my hair looked very apologetic and gave me a good cut. But the manager needs to stop hair shaming customers.
