What a gem to have found!!!! Perfect spot for wine lovers…. Service is amazing, engaging and able to answer and satisfy any need a MUST spot to frequent.

Attanded this venue on Wednesday evening. Enjoyed a lovely live jazz music performance. Really like the concept of this place, the combination of cellar bar/coctail lounge with possibility for buying wine to take home.I have, however, never experienced such a coercive approach to selling before. I didn't feel like having more than two drinks, but instead, the barman/waiter laughed when after our first drink, I requested glass of wine for my friend and glass of water for myself. It normally takes a joke and a second reassurance for staff to settle in on customer decision. This time, I had to invest considerably much more time.Additionally, a similar scene took place when we were about to leave. This time, the barman decided to treat us with a glass of whisky with ice each, despite the fact that I don't drink whiskey.At the end of this experience, I feel like I have been robbed of a right to a free will and decision making as well as of money. Really tricky to deal with as you don't want to be rude to the staff...I am disappointed with the service of this place, and I am unlikely to return. Please, do let your customers decide when they want to stop drinking and also don't charge them for drinks they never asked for.

Lunchtime bouncer at the mercato entrance didn't like me having a plastic bottle in my bag - one to avoid if you're in the area for any kind of shopping I guessEdit: thank you for your thorough response - my plastic bottle of choice that day was a lucozade bottle which I was re-using to carry water. It was raining so I wasn't inclined to stand around outside enjoying my tasty beverage.

Such an amazing place, so different from anywhere else in London! Love the atmosphere, and have to say a special mention about Pedro (the barman/server) at the bar was great and made our night so much better! We will come back again. :-)
