I had my vivaro van taken here through a accident , even though no repairs where carried out due to it being a write off these guys were brilliant from start to finish , very professional and polite and proud of what they do , I'd say they were better than my actual insurance company by keeping me informed all the way ..... Alistair,I just wanted to drop you an email from an exceptionally sunny France about your team.When we arrived in France three weeks ago warning lights came on in the van within the first 2 hours. Great my French is “limitée” to say the least.I drove to our first destination and contacted service and Howard got together a list of all the Fiat dealers in the area that we were in. Unfortunately, he also told me that Fiat assist would not come out as the light on the dash was amber and not red. I checked a few things and decided to head down to my friends who are fluent in French to see if we could get someone to look at the van asap. They rung around a number of dealers but they said that they couldn’t do anything until September!Howard emailed me to see if we had had any luck so I explained the problem. Then on Tuesday last week Warren rang me to see if we had got ourselves sorted. I explained the situation and he said to ring Fiat assist immediately and get them to sort the van out. He told me what to do and what to say. By Thursday tea the van had had a diagnostic check and a faulty fuel sensor was the problem. No problem for Michael the lovely French man in Marennes, he had one in stock. Two hours later and the van is back in our possession and the repair complete. Hurrah, no warning lights on the dash and we can relax.The following day in the high sun I use the air-rides in quick succession causing them to get a little warm and the red warning light displays. I ring SMC in a panic and the wonderful Lydia takes control of the situation. Warren is out so she goes to the workshop in search of help. Lydia rings me back and sorts everything out and all is well again.A few years ago we were on an Aire in a small town called St Romaine De Colbosc and an English gentleman struck up a conversation with us. We were in the Hymer and we told him we wanted to change it but were jaded by the experiences we had had with Lowdhams and Brownhills. He told us that Frankia was the van for us as the only place we would get the service we were looking for was SMC. We had never heard of you. We went out of our way on our journey home to call in and look at these Frankia things…Low and behold this unknown man was definitely speaking the truth.I cannot praise you and your team enough for the level of help and care that they have displayed and felt that I ought to take the time to express my gratitude to you and your team.Thank you very muchAnne and sam
