I have always hated my beard and reading up on what can be done about it, I was advised to seek out a medical backed practitioners rather than a beauty salon. Which suited me because, well, vain middle aged man (if I live beyond a hundred). I was a bit nervous going in but the staff there made me feel at ease immediately. Aiste carried out most of my treatments and I can’t fault her professionalism, care or sense of humour. Similarly, every other team member I interacted with. A year later and with my treatment completed that’s all the dark hair completely gone from my beard. Unfortunately white hair does not respond to laser (I was made aware of this on day 1). So as understood and paid for the treatment was a complete success with no side effects. I have been advised that electrolysis can take care of the white should I wish to do that. (I probably will)I highly recommend SKN and the Cardiff team wholeheartedly. I may go back for other treatments too. It was worth every penny. Smarts a tiny bit under the nose when lasered there (older man with dense beard, with coarse terminal hair remember. Women’s hair is likely to be nowhere near as deep rooted, dense or coarse in that area). If it worked for me, there’s a good chance it’ll work for you.This is also a trans friendly business.

Just finished my course of 8. I had a couple of of girls doing my laser but had Aiste for most of my sessions. She is very friendly and professional! Makes you feel very comfortable, she takes time and you can clearly see that she wants the best results for her clients.
