My new favourite bike shop. Great service from Jamie who’s currently working his nuts off as they’re one of the only shops in the region with plenty of stock of EMTB’s. They have the Haibike AllMtn SE in stock too! That won’t last long

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!!We were lucky enough to be take up to Dalby Forest Bike Trails for a Demo Day with John, the Manager at The Elec Transport Shop York - what an amazing time it was. John was a superb guide (it was my first time on those trails) & the 2 bikes were an absolute pleasure to ride & experience.John is an incredibly supportive chap & his expeirence made the whole process incredibly enjoyable.I highly recommend both John & The ETS York in everyway.Can't wait to get mine!!!!!

Took my electric bike here for some maintainance over the weekend. Top service and really nice guys in the shop. I will definitely be taking it here again in future if and when it needs work doing. Highly recommend.

I would just like to say what a pleasure it was buying our 2 electric bikes from Simon and Jamie at The electric transport shop. Great service and 2 very nice blokes indeed. Very friendly people for this e-bike newbie. I wanted a spare battery and unbeknown to any of us, Bosch does two types (the older fitting and newer smart system). Anyway, I bought the wrong one but within two days they got me the right one. Since then I bought some accessories from here and will now get my servicing done here. It’s a gem of a store to know.

Fantastic customer service from Simon - helpful and knowledgeable, made it a really enjoyable experience buying my first e-bike. Confident the after-sales service will be equally good.

Bought an eBike from them this week - really excellent service. I had taken the bike recommendations quiz online and had done some research into what I wanted - at least the brand if not the exact model. They helped me find the right size for me, gave me advice as to security and insurance, answered all of my questions. Really lovely, not 'pushy' salespeople, not trying to get you to buy only the most expensive one, they want to help you find the right thing for you. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone, fab experience all around.

Had our e-bikes stolen last month a few days before we were due to go on a cycling break. Insurers were ok but slow. Simon and his team were marvellous getting replacements in and doing all the pre tests on the morning of our holiday so we didn’t have to cancel.The team are great, nothing too much trouble. I had a snag on the holiday and Simon sorted it .

Placed the order on line, received the usual auto email, followed next day by a call from Craig at the Cambridge branch. One of the bikes was not in stock, but would be available in 3-4 weeks, we were offered the next model up, the electric bike sales company offered to pay half the difference on the upgrade, cant say fairer than that.However, upgrade bike wasn't quite right for us.The original order continued.A couple of days later, Craig called to say the bike was on its way to the Cambridge branch for a service, 3 days after this the order was fully delivered all safe and sound.So 2 weeks from placing order to delivery, now thats what I call service.It was brilliant having a specialist to talk to and Craig went over and above to ensure the order was correctly fulfilled for us.Company overall good.Staff (Craig at Cambridge branch) outstanding.
