Was left without a shower for a MONTH was ignored as for repairs and apparently the appropriate substitute was given (a public gym cubical shower on a 20 second timer). I’d like to also add there were spare en suit rooms that they could have offered to us as they did this when the shower broke again months later. On top of this the fridge broke and food shops were lost as well as leakages, oven problems and very very little communication. After a long time passed and the team were finally in communication we were offered a measly 10% rent reduction. I asked for this to be reviewed which took 4 months to do so. In which they gave the exact same offer and demanded I pay my remaining rent which I had considered a fair compensation. Worst year of my life.Save yourself the stress, go private.

Riddled with silverfish and rats and the rooms look and feel like prison cells. Would not recommend at all.

I'd stay clear of this accommodation, 1) it's overpriced for what it is. 2) it's incredibly cold or extremely hot depending on your flat. 3) Security are terrible and either take ages to respond or just walk around doing nothing. 4) Noise complaints never get taken seriously even at 3am with partying, even if you specify the flat, they'll still deem it as unidentifiable location. 5) People will throw whatever they like onto your balcony. 6) Laundry is expensive and the room is dirty. 7) It takes ages to fix something and when it does get fixed it's unexpected visits. 8) My room and bathroom were dirty on moving in. 9) Constant unexplainable leaks or drilling noises. 10) You really have to decorate your room otherwise it really does add to the prison feel, it's not an exaggeration like I originally thought it was. 11) Walls are just brick and no insulation so you can hear most things from the flat above you or if you have loud flatmates. 12) If you get a bottom floor flat people will try and climb in through the windows and if you're on the lower floors people will climb up or down your balcony. The only good thing I can say about it is the cleaners, they are hardworking despite some peoples disgusting flats, and they're really nice to have a chat with. The team should get a raise.

Like a prison aha you can get good rooms and bad rooms, I'd go radnor or pilgrim in this area but is the best cheap option unless youd go private. Staff are excellent, maintenance and housekeeping brilliant.

These are what they are. Remember, these are the lower cost digs, and there is an element of getting what you pay for.The rooms were clean and a decent size. The site felt very safe and secure with good locks and electronic door access, lots of cctv.Unfortunately, the architecture and the age of the buildings can make the feel of the place a bit 'institutional' but there's not much the Uni can do about that. The fixtures and fittings are functional but well-used.The halls are in the middle of the student village and a 2 minutes walk from the main campus and the centre of town. I felt quite comfortable dropping my son off, and he did too, so on balance they'll do the job.

Do not stay here if you have the chance. The rooms are tiny, and the bed I stayed in is probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever had the displeasure of sleeping in.The rooms are constantly damp, and I had to buy a dehumidifier just to be able to live normally in the room. The kitchens are very poor I had two malfunctioning fridge/freezers between 8 people. The hobs are very poor and the oven takes at least an hour to heat up to temperature.I wasn't in an ensuite, but the sink in my room only poured out sickly water. The showers were probably the worst showers I've ever used. The maintenance staff were great and obviously knew what they were they were on about, however they were restricted by budgets and their management. For the ridiculous price they are charging, I urge you to go with another halls. Do not make the mistake I did.

I go to uni here, got a room, seemed nice at first but it feels like a prison. Buildings riddled with silverfish, weren't cleaned before new students arrived so I had to clean up god knows what and urine stains and pubic hair- lovely( I assume this is because of covid however) We have a mouse in the flat and has been reported more times than we can count. Had 1 mouse trap put in after we were told pest control would come but never came, issue is so bad now- after 3 weeks they're entering rooms and not seeing this as urgent. Having to live with a mouse that causes unsanitary condition and it's not being taken seriously. As a new student I really just would not recommend Robbins. Oh and the 24/7 maintence service isn't brilliant- lovely people don't get me wrong but they don't actually send people out and you end up having to report so many times to get anything solved. For 133.50 a week, the wifi is terrible too.

Ideal for students! Just as well really. Stairway to top floor is v hot at top. Could do with some heat recovery units to utilise that heat rather than leave windows open!! Clean tidy but kitchen cupboards don't have shelves? Car parking fine.
