The service is good the Chinese is always good. Sometimes the Fish & Chips are a bit greasy and not the best. But to be fair it’s a nice clean chip shop

Absolutely love this place. Always great food. Had fish and chips and the fish was absolutely fantastic. Full of flavour. Staff are always polite and friendly. Chips always taste amazing. I do enjoy their fishcakes too, cooked in breadcrumbs. Parking isn't good, but there is a car park 1 minute walk up the road. Also a shop near by. Wheel access into chip shop. The place was clean and tidy.

Sadly the Fish n chips here are not as good as they were pre pandemic (yes weird) The batter used to be thin and crispy, coating lovely white fish which is why we always favoured here over other places in Frome. Our last few visits over the past year the batter is very very stodgey and thick - in fact uncooked slimy/doughy floury and very unpleasant. It looks just as though they are using small pieces of fish and coating it in very thick batter to make the pieces of fish look bigger.

Absolutely fantastic place. The fish and chips taste amazing. I hate it when I've finished because it's so tasty. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Sometimes there is a wait or a queue but not for long. It's because its sooo popular. Good prices. Fantastic menu. Used the car pack 1 minute walk up the road. Wheelchair access.

Too expensive. Massive fish. Huge pile of chips. Very large cold mushy peas.With portions like these Jesus would have no problem feeding the 5000.7 people behind the counter. Most seem to be doing nothing. At least half of the food thrown away because it was too much. Next time I will go somewhere with smaller portions smaller prices.

I will eat most food even if it's not great. Not this... Not good in fact awful... You have been warned!I had 'grey' chips years ago at this takeaway. Everyone deserves a second chance so tried the Chinese menu. Greasy over salted, dated style food you would expect back in the 70's... You have been warned!
