Amigos Burgers & Shakes - Streatham

5 star service and food!The decor of the place is funky and fresh. Staff very friendly and they genuinely seem happy compared to the miserable staff you get at other fast food venues. They even checked up on us to see how the food was! When have McDonald's or 5 Guys ever done that?Ordered the Amigo burger meal and the spicy beef burger. Both come in 2 sizes. 6 or 8 ounces. Was told we'd have to wait 10-12 minutes but food arrived much quicker.Both burgers are delicious.Word of warning the spicy beef burger is indeed spicy. And this is coming from a lover of hot and spicy food and I have been disappointed many, many times when restaurants have labelled food as spicy only to find them.....not spicy. You can even ask for the heat to be turned up if you wish for even more heat!Chips were cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. You also get 2 sauces served with your food. A spicy tomato and mint dip and sour cream (I think) dip.All in all I left a very satisfied customer and would visit again

Loved the food, nicest chips for a long time. We were just a bit cold when sitting eating the food it in the restaurant and shame there wasn't any plain mayo or ketchup provided. Will deffo return but maybe in warmer weather or takeaway.Came back for a second time and the hygiene on display was appalling. Team using same pairs of gloves to touch screen, cash register and food with no changes. When a colleague asked a member of staff to get her a different cup as she watched her put her hand inside she argued back and stamped around whilst putting together the rest of the order together. Shame because the food is tasty.

Poor customer service! 0/10 StreathamA customer returned chips then the counter assistant put the chips back in the chip pan when I asked why they have not discarded the chips she sarcastically said her colleague will eat them!Health & Safety! Food Hygiene Will not be returning!

I just had to try out this new joint as it’s local to me. Texan chicken burger was amazing. The sauces really made the flavours pop. The galaxy milkshake easily stole the show for me. Perfect blend of rich, sweet and thickness.The decor inside is vibrant, all that’s missing is a jukebox. The staff here are great and the cleanliness is up to standard. No complaints at all. Will try to visit a least once a month to try out the broad menu. 5/5

Best buttermilk chicken burger I have had !! Leon the fella that served me and family was great the best customer service I have ever seen in a burger shop. We will definitely be coming again, next time we're going to try the breakfast meal. Compliments to the chef for the amazing tasty food.

Alright hear me now, me and my friends decided to try Amigos as it was recently added to our local-ish area. The staff were all very friendly, but I have to give a specific shoutout to the man who served our food both times we were there! He checked up on us all throughout the culinary experience; he was patient, and overall made the meal ten times better. The place itself is a somewhat intriguing balance between Five Guys and Fat Twins, with a very unique interior; the walls almost feel like the inside of a shipping container, but I liked the vibe. The decent puns scattered throughout made for a quirky but friendly environment. They’re also 100% halal which is great.Amigos burger-This burger is the staple of the restaurant so I was expecting it to be good—and it was. From the juicy patty to the incredibly aesthetic lettuce and the twangy sauce, too. It was an absolute treat to eat. They weren’t stingy in any department, but especially the sauce (which could be seen as excessive to some). The tomato vanished beneath the flavour of everything which, though that was a positive to me since I don’t like tomatoes. Overall a very tasty burger. 6.7/10Chicken Texan This burger was a puzzle to me. The presentation was amazing, and there was a perfect ratio of everything beside the condiments. The first bite was an explosion of flavour, from the chicken to the combination of sauces going on. Throughout the rest, however, there was the almost overwhelming flavour of barbecue sauce while the intense flavour of vinegar wiggled it’s way through and it became a struggle to eat. I’m not sure if it was the mustard or the amount of vinegar, but I couldn’t finish it. The pure sharpness of everything whittled away at my palate. 5.5/10Fries -The first time I came here the fries were amazing; small and thin like maccies, but so much better; perfectly crispy; as fluffy on the inside as it can be—and just all round brilliant. 8.3/10. The second time, however, they had changed. A slightly thicker batch of chips was a bit of a disappointment as they weren’t anywhere near as good. More salt was needed on it as they didn’t absorb the taste as well, but they were okay. 5.7/10Oreo milkshake -This was pretty good. A nice, healthy taste of Oreo. It was creamy, too; devoid of that malty taste that often ruins milkshakes. Overall, a pretty good accompaniment to the meal. 6.3/10Just as an aside: if you’re a spice warrior who doesn’t just love a healthy punch but would rather a more attentive PUNCH of targeted spiciness, then definitely go for the HappyNero burger. I’ve been a very regular customer here and amigos streatham has the worst service. On one account I came in 1 hour before closing and was told they closed everything and all I could get is sides but now today the 14th December I was told the milkshake machine isn’t working as I’m waiting to collect my meal I see another staff member make a milkshake for what I assume is for delivery. I mentioned this and the member just laughed. I don’t take this as a joke. Worst service please re train your staff to act with integrity and to have the decency to speak the truth and listen to what a customer orders.

Food were quite average. It's for sure edible but nothing to shout home about. A little pricey in my opinion for the quality. Chicken rice is effectively chicken chunks and spiced rice. Doesn't come with drink or side. Double cheese burger costs £5.49 on it's own. Milkshakes however are good. Tables were clean. Toilet can be used when asked, but has a sign that says out of order on it. No toilet rolls provided.
