Wickes Colchester

Well it all seems a good place to buy from but all good stores diy store offer free parlking this parking ticket thing has totaly put me off using wickes and for that reason will buy elsewhere you do not ned this preasure when making purchases i think its discraful and exspectwickes are losing sales and people are shopping elsewhere

I am truly and utterly disgusted the way I have been treated by Wickes of Colchester. My elderly parents had the misfortune of being completely robbed by a so called cowboy plumber. I was hoping I could exchange a couple of expensive items that were purchased from Wickes by this cowboy because he ordered the wrong materials. I was only asking if these items could be returned to the supplier and if they could issue a credit note so we could re order the correct size items.After numerous phone calls to Wickes they basically didn’t want anything to do with the situation.The message I got was the manager totally refused to speak to me because he couldn’t help me anymore????I received no help whatsoever absolutely disgusting.

went to buy some postcrete today. Never tried before but Chris was so very helpful advising me and then carrying it out to the car for me and the ladies on the till were equally helpful. Cannot fault these staff

If I could do 0 zeros I would. Colchester customer service is terrible. Do not buy from here if you have any issues the manager will not help you, he will waste hours of your time and then refuse to help. Buy from anywhere else but wickes in Colchester, they are a disgrace.

I used the Colchester store on 13.09.23 to pick up some skirting board, the unexpected long length meant this was a little tricky for me. There were two people working who went above and beyond to help, first pointing out where the product was, offering to help unpack a single length from the multipack, checking the quality and then helping me to the till and car. Because of them I was able to purchase the item and I would recommend this store for the team’s professional and proactive friendly approach - thank you.

Rubbish. Spent £60 got a parking ticket £95 never again. Well done Wickes another lost client

Citysprint damaged our gate post after delivering a large parcel, but because we could not prove it was them as we do not have cctv, Wickes will not support our claim for remedial work on the post. Would suggest that you ensure you are in to accept any delivery, even though they only give a 7am to 7pm time slot. Courier could have left the item (a Keter outside storage cabinet) with a neighbour, or even left a card to say they would reattempt delivery, rather than bust our gate post forcing entry. Needless to say, we are very unhappy about the situation, and also the fact that it has taken 3 weeks of chasing Wickes to try and get a resolution. The storage cabinet is great, so no issues with the product at all.

Avoid like the plague, Can not deliver what they sell! Better of going anywhere else, they can’t get any worse!

Great store easy to get to and good range of building products. It’s much more convenient for me than the big out of town sheds
