Blast from the Past Arcade

As someone who's been a regular customer here for about 6 months now (and has multiple highscores on a variety of the games) I would highly recommend coming here!!!There's so many different arcade machines, pinball machines and games for the consoles so you'll definitely find at least a few that you'll enjoy!If you ever want to know about the history or legacies of any machines or games then just ask the owner! They're super friendly and helpful!Also every month there's a different classic Game Of The Month! It's always a fun little challenge to see who can get the highest score before the month is over!

Great place full of nostalgia. Run but a really cool guy called Ryan who obviously has a real passion for the place. Can't wait to see it grow as planned

On of the best places to spend a couple of hours. Lots of videogames and pinballs. My son and I love to go there Avery time we go to Halifax. It you love videogames and or the 80 and 90's is a must!!!

Went for a works outing - 10 staff. On walking in I feared there wouldn't be enough to keep everyone occupied for 2 hours, but suddenly it was time to leave and everyone had lost track of time! A good selection of games so there is something for everyone, plus there's an interesting history behind each one, or a reason why it's been selected to be there. Everyone found a favourite game to obsess over beating the high score. A big success, and be sure to ask Ryan about the tales behind each game!

We really enjoyed our time here. It is small but as previous posters have said there are quite a few good retro games. The man in charge was lovely. As it was our first time we needed help more than once and he was very patient and friendly. The other gamers were also friendly which was a bonus. Next time we are in the area, we will come back.

As a pinball enthusiast with over fifty years of experience, I was thrilled to meet Ryan at BftP today.I'll be back. It's such a pleasure to meet someone else as keen to share the joy of flippers.

I visited this arcade today, and it’s so special.The person who runs it is lovely, and clearly knows their stuff. They were happy to chat and help with the machines when we had questions.The arcade is small, but has some lovely, hard to find experiences on offer. Everything has a vintage feel to it, and the price of admission is so reasonable. The atmosphere is enhanced by the fantastic, appropriately chosen music in the background.This arcade is a rare, magical experience. If I were a local, I’d be coming here often. If I’m ever in this part of the country again, I’ll be sure to check it out.

Me and the family visited today during the Christmas Market, whilst the lasses went shopping me and my son came across blast from the past arcade. It was brilliant. The lad running is really friendly and easy to talk too if you need any help etc They are moving into a bigger shop next year which will make it even better.
