Awful practice ring numerous and calls constantly put down. They blame there phone system which has been updated four or five times.Been with this practice for around twenty years there are some really good doctors it’s just a shame the reception staff lack any customer service skills

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the way appointments has been handled by the reception team. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, I have not received a satisfactory response or solution.During the years there has been no progress towards finding a resolution.I feel that my concerns have not been taken seriously and that the management team has not made a genuine effort to address the issue. This lack of action on the part of management has not only caused my parents personal frustration and stress, but it has also affected their ability to live their personal life effectively.

Been here for nearly a decade, the GPs themselves are not the problem, the receptionists which are a direct contact to them, are. The system might be the problem, or some staff, or both. Appointment bookings are NEVER pleasant or quick, this has been the case for a few years now. I'm aware it's not just this, but many gp practices are facing current difficulties themselves , but that does not replace the fact that most of the time the customer service is in most days horrible.

It wouldn’t let me otherwise I will give them 0 star. My wife and my daughter was registered in this GP. My wife need to see GP was an emergency I call GP in the morning 18 times from 7:59 no one has answered the phone, when they answered after 10 minutes on 19th times answer was sorry all booked for today!I went to the reception explained situation they give us next 21 days appointment. How stupid it is that. I told them in next 21 days my wife which breast feeding daughter will be die, they didn’t care.My wife being told by midwife need to get a whooping cough vaccine from the GP when she was pregnant. I rang them myself twice receptionist told me we don’t do that. Wife gives birth without the whooping cough vaccine and was suffering.I filled up the form changed my wife GP I didn’t know I have to do separate form for my 4 months old daughter but this practice told NHS that they can’t be my daughter’s GP no more because they are far. No address has changed what the lie.Registered with this practice for over 14 months never my wife seen the GP even she needed few times.

Disgusting doesn’t even describe this practice. You can’t say anything without the receptionists piping up like they own the practice and refusing to deal with anything. If it was possible to give them a minus, I know many people would. The CQC really need to take a good look at this practice and shut it down. Patient care is not a priority for this surgery. All the receptionists need replacing at this surgery. No compassion, no willingness to help. The only thing they know to say is “I will not continue with this call if you continue being violent” regardless of whether or not you’re being violent. With zero qualifications in the medical field, they think they can decide the urgency of your medical condition in terms of whether or not you need to be seen and how soon you need to be seen. Patient conditions will only get worse if its left to these receptionists to decide if and when you can have an appointment. Mohua Chowdhury, CHANGE YOUR RECEPTIONISTS or teach them how to do their jobs PROPERLY.

I asked if I could make an appointment with my doctor and I was told that today was already full even though I rang dead on 10 O’clock when they opened and it is currently 10:02 am. They said I can book an appointment but the nearest time they have is the 12of July which is a month away.

Just thought I’d leave a review after seeing all the negative feedback being posted here. I’ve had a great experience with this practice and have been treated professionally. That’s because I treat them with respect. Certain things can be better but that’s an issue with the overall healthcare system in the U.K. I get people are ill or in a bad way but you need to understand where the issues lie. Rather than coming on a public place to say the stuff they are saying. People think the world revolves around them and their needs come before everyone else’s. I know this is a harsh thing to say but the reality is, this issue is affecting every aspect of the healthcare system. This isn’t just isolated individual practices. Every practice has finite resource so can’t just see everyone as and when people want. The amount of people a practice would cover is insane compared to the volume of doctors/staff a practice has. The receptionists are the front line, people are saying ‘the way the receptionists act, is like they’ve gone to medical school’, what are u expecting? The doctors to sit at the reception? They convey the doctors messages because they can’t sit at reception, as they’re seeing patients. If you’re that upset then get private medical care, see where that takes you. All this anger needs to be directed at the government who have made a dogs dinner out of the whole healthcare system.

Dreadful, not been to the GP for a while, needed an appointment, was told none available and to call 111. 111 service booked me in with the very same GP that ‘ Has No Appointments’. Reception staff are ignorant and rude not worth the hassle with this GP.

Pathetic excuse of a GP surgery. GP's are fine but the receptionists think they are the consultant doctors and pipe up and speak to you like they know everything. Receptionists seriously need changing. Rude staff who will sit and listen to the phone ring for ages and not answer. Disgraceful GP surgery, disgusting manners by the receptionists when you do finally get through after 20 minutes of 'your call is number 1'. Absolutely shocking.
