River Island

The staff member with short height wearing black jacket was so rude. I was just looking for my shirts in men area she was using the same rack. She strictly told us I was using it do not to use it when we asked when it would be free she said I don't know and we waited there for 30 min but she was all doing it on purpose. I’ll never visit this store again where the staff members don't know how to behave with customers.

Good place but I couldn’t find what I was looking for bit of disappointment

I had the misfortune of buying a suite for my son last month from the Trafford centre branch. When I went to exchange it for the same suite as my son was not pleased with the size, I was told I had to pay another £38 for the exact jacket because when we bought the suite, it was on sale and it's a company policy. If I'm exchanging the same product, why would I need to pay extra money? This isn't a fair policy.In the future, we will take our business somewhere else. The young lady on the counter was friendly and apologized.Also wanted to clarify your exchange policy, as what I experienced doesn't seem like common practice.

Went to the river island store in Trafford centre today, visiting from Bradford. The young asian girl at the till was extremely rude and ignorant. There was a long queue at the checkouts for customers who intended on paying with cash and only one staff member serving! The Asian girl in question appeared to have been “training” a new member of staff. Why she felt the training was more important than a queue long of people was beyond me. After telling me she is training a member of staff and made me wait in the queue for 5 minutes or so she then decides to serve me when she saw the queue growing. I specifically requested for my student discount to be added which she advised had been done. After waiting almost 30 minutes to pay due to the lack of competence from the staff I got out of the store stupidly without checking the receipt. When I’ve returned home I’ve found the discount has not been applied and I was charged full price for each item. Which now means another trip into a more local store! Absolutely shocking and disgraceful service from her! Wish I got her name

I had a 4 hour round trip to get a suit for a wedding. Found one that liked and fit well all good until I got home and found that they left the ink tag on. Now I have a 4hour round trip to have the tag removed. As no shops in my home time use the same system. It's not rocket science she removed the one from the jacket.The other thing the door alarm must be good!!!!

We went to Trafford centre on Sunday and then decided to visit this totally new look River Island. I was really surprised to see the ambience, decoration, and some amazing stuff inside the showroom. I will be visiting soon to shop some formals.

Great River Island located in Trafford Centre - well designed and stocked... The sales section near the tills was fantastic with some stupendous bargains, managed to bag myself something I had been looking at for ages!
