I use the skate park here and have found it to be really good. There is a nice mix of areas for people of all different levels. Mini ramp is nice. Pool is good for those who skate pools and bowls (I don’t as of yet). But those that do, tell me it is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Toilets are clean and tidy. There is a bar and some vending machines, but I have not used them to date.Generally the attendees at the skate park are very friendly, approachable and welcoming. I come back every week for the winter months it is an ideal venue.

This is a wicked place to go for all kinds of Xtreme sports and definitely worth going if you're local to the area or just want to try something different.They got a good variety of stuff to ride or skate too and definitely wicked that it has an old school bowl too.

{Climbing wall review only}I'd easily give it 5 stars as the place is pretty decent. Two stars are removed due to very limited auto belay choice.If you want to climb alone you can't use 80% of the gym as all auto-belay routes are confined to one dark corner and all bar ones are on the lower walls.While ago auto belays were more spread out and offered much more choice.

Great place to skate but only really suitable for advanced, confident skaters. Photos don’t convey the scale of the park, everything was a lot bigger than I was expecting based on the photos online. Would be great to watch the pros rip it up in there but for a skater at beginner level, most things were above my skill/comfort level and it would have been good to know that before I drove an hour and a half to get there. Hopefully this can help others to decide whether to travel or not.

(This review is only about the skate park)very good skate park for all levels. It has some big ramps and it has some little ramps. It has a pool for skateboards. A bowl for scooter, riders and skate boards. BMX bikes are allowed in skate park. It has Reesie to hard tricks.

Really excellent climbing instructors - in our case for a 12 yr old. All the instructors we've had have been kind, professional and really understanding. Would 100 % recommend!

Some good routes on the wall but, needs better lighting in winter as routes difficult to see (particularly for those with colour blind issues (10% of all males have this). Also wrap up warm in the einter months!

Before the pandemic the XC was open from 10:00 during the week. now they only open from 14:00 for such a great facility it spends more time shut than open. There is a great opportunity to employ young persons (the XC is part run by a youth charity ABSOLUTELY TOGETHER). With many people working from home the need for facilities like the XC to allow a break away from the PC & to hook up with others is a new dynamic which needs to be exploited.
