This is a cheating mortgage company. Be careful! Broker always mentioned 2 years fixed rate for it. However, the fixed period is set different, e.g. set shorter 20 months but charge full fee during low interest rate period, set 27 months fixed rate while high interest rate period. If you overlooked, you will bounced for this unreasonable contract. If you spotted the trick, then they will say sorry & amend it. Don’t use this company again. When I complained, they just shifted responsibility to the broker & your overlooked & signed.

This mob now part of the Coventry building society used a forged mortgage to seize an oaps home. The court case caused him to stop eating and taking his medications. He died a broken scared old man. Coventry building society does it really take 10 years to show him the unsigned mortgage he never signed.?

I can honestly say whenever I've had reason to contact Godiva the call centre staff have been extremely helpful and polite. Details have been explained so that I've easily understood them. My last enquiry was about paying off my mortgage with them but I would not hesitate to use Godiva again.

Appalling company to deal with. I'm representing my mother who has been diagnosed with dementia and sent all the LPA paperwork two months ago (banks were happy with electronic copies but not this outfit). Despite regular chase ups and using complaints process (tried to tell me I couldn't make a complaint) nothing back, not even an acknowledgement. This seems to be a very badly run company that is unable to run its operations competently.Will be going to the ombudsman and the FSA - there seem to be serious concerns (part of the Coventry Building Society).

The reason I am giving them 1 start is simple because this is now year 2023 and they don't have a portal where you can view your own statements. Which might be forgiven but when you phone them to ask if they can post you monthly statements they say they can't an expect you to phone them monthly so they can send one to you. I suspect they must be in the dark ages using pencil and paper in the office and far to busy to actually offer customer service.

AwfulBeen waiting over 6 weeks for a response to a question on duration of a lease. Meant to be signing contract by end of month.Have called 10times and been given promises that they don't keep. Last 2 days they promised to sort and call back in the afternoon. No call received.They don't email, they can't send a copy of terms and conditions because there are too many pages, they can't send a copy of relevant pages as this would be 'cherry picking', they can't send you their complaints policy.Empty promises, lagging behind with basic technologies, poorly managed.

very helpful organisation. it has taken awful lot of time for paperwork to be processed from solicitors management company etc.. etc..Godiva held on to this magnificent rate of 3.45% for months and extended the offer twice to accommodate us even regardless interest rates has been rocketing. Our experience with godiva has been excellent. How mortgage application was dealt with and accepted in two weeks. The longest I've waited for the telephone to be answered is four minutes. All staff members have been pleasant, polite and have been able to deal with my questions competently. Would definitely recommend.
