I booked a cut, dry & finish by Bethan. The salon is in a fab location, overlooking Penzance marina and looking out to St Michael's Mount. Bethan listened to what I wanted (I'd brought a photo) and she did a beautiful job tidying up the cut and layers, and showing me how to style it curly with straighteners. Friendly staff, modern but cosy salon, great price. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very pleasant staff and very well managed. Every client made to feel special, and nothing is too much trouble. Stylists are excellent, and the view while having your hair styled is brilliant as it looks over Penzance harbour and ample car parking just across the road.

Quality hairdresser in Penzance. Most importantly there is time taken to understand exactly what you have in mind beforehand. I like that!

I've been on the waiting list for a while, being new to the area and finally got my chance this week. I was very excited after waiting 6 months due to Covid, and Hunter & Walsh didn't dissapont.Brydie did a full head of highlights (blonde), cut and blow dry and I feel like a new women. I am so happy with what she's done for me. She took the time to really understand my wants for my hair and my hair history and the consultation was fab and we came to decisions together about the colours. I just love my revitalised 'pearl blonde' hair now. Already looking forward to my future visits :)

I’m very sorry to leave this place as I have been coming here three years the girls are all absolutely fantastic I started off with Louise who went to Australia then with Rosabell who has now had a beautiful baby girl apparently then finally with Laura who is absolutely amazing and just got married also the lovely Molly I will miss very much good luck with your future Molly I know you’re going to do amazing reason I’ve left is because my hand on my right hand side is partially paralysed at the moment I rang up and said I couldn’t have my hair long anymore and I needed my hair cutting unfortunately the lady at the reception told me it would be until October that I could make an appointment and then it wouldn’t be with my Laura so I have now gone to another hairdressers I’m very sorry to leave but needs must I’m afraid at the moment good luck everyone with the future

On holiday & in desperate need of a revamp, I drove past HunterandWalsh which looked on point. Checked out their Instagram feed which was really good. I called for an appointment & had a cut with Louise (super friendly) and she understood my request (weight out, graduated bob). It looks stunning! Thanks Louise I couldn't be more pleased!!

I've been going to Hunter Walsh for years. Nadine always cuts my hair beautifully. The salon is bright and airy with lovely views of the harbour and St.Michael's Mount. It may be pricier than most but I think it's worth every penny!

I've been using Hunter and Walsh for a while now as I had a big wedding coming up and wanted it looking nice. After a failed attempt at having a perm which is due to my hair not the hair dressers although as the product was expensive they didn't bother testing my hair before hand to make sure it would work. Could have saved me £100 on curless hair now poor condition. I called numerous time for a fringe trim but my hair dresser was always busy. A week before the wedding I had no choice but to use another stylist to cut my fringe. What a mistake. She didn't separate my fringe from my hair or even brush it, just cut away. My fringe was so short, longer one side than the other and she'd added a new piece so it was no longer even. I popped back in to have it corrected but you can't correct what she did. It was destroyed and so were the wedding photos I was looking forward to seeing with my family. I am so appauled and upset by this and I still can't do anything with it. I will not be returning and advise anyone else to avoid too.

This is such a wonderful Salon. I have been coming here for years and Viv and the team always make me feel valued and listened to. They provide a top professional service, and my hair has never looked better or been in as good condition. I wouldn’t trust any other salon with my hair now.
