Woodward Solicitors, Wigan

I was selling a house with Woodward's as my estate agent suggested them. The service from Woodward's has been awful. I had questions that had already been answered, My case handler went on holiday twice and no one else picked it up. Do not use.

Can't recommend Woodwards enough, we're first time buyers with no prior knowledge of how the conveyancing process works and they've been such a pleasure to work with. Denise Parkinson on the New Business team has been constantly working on our file and checking in with/updating us. We are still in the process of completing but it has been so quick and easy, they're always happy to answer any questions and are quick at responding to us. Highly recommend their services!

Through reading the reviews on here, there hasn't been much said about Woodward's wills and probate solicitor services - due to my own experience, I do have to recommend David Watkin to anyone who is going through the sensitive area of sorting out a deceased person's estate. David was my first ever experience of dealing with a solicitor and he made sure that I had a good experience with it all. David was professional throughout the whole process of myself, as my mum's daughter, applying for the Letters of Administration, which was all completed in March 2023, and communicated with myself regularly to update me on how the process was progressing in my case. It was also good for once that as a customer I was able to speak to the solicitor directly, unlike most other firms where you are more likely to speak to a secretary, therefore making Woodward an approachable law firm. Their prices are also very competitive against the rest of the solicitors' firms in the Wigan borough and really work hard for their customers. I will be definitely using the services of Woodward Solicitors in the near future regarding another legal matter, relating to their conveyancing services, due to the good experience I have had most recently dealing with the company. A credible law firm people should consider.
