Nafferton Weir is a very special place to visit. We were on a walk from Bredon Hill to Eckington Bridge and stopped off here to have a drink and sandwich. We were cooled down in the hot weather by the spray thrown by the foaming weir. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and graced by the lovely River Avon, which is one of the most scenic rivers in Britain. Great spot for a picnic.

Lovely secluded lock on the River Avon, with a Weir leading off the main river where you can board/leave the river if kayaking etc.
