The quality of the produce used in this cafe is appalling.They tried to compensate by over cooking everything which made it worse.The service was amateur, I would avoid this place.Very poor experience.Dave A

I tend mainly to get the all day breakfasts here, can't speak much on the rest of the menu. The breakfast is very hearty and more than enough for the person with a big appetite. Friendly service and value for money.

I popped in for a drink. The menu is a big choice of home style food and drinks. I went for the Oreo milkshake; delicious and also served in a shiny pint glass. The waitress was nice and the service was decent. The ambience is friendly and easy going.

This cafe was a great find. The food was nice just what you would expect for the price. You're guaranteed a filling meal at this cafe. Breakfast meals for 4 people totalling just around £26 including drinks.it's situated alongside a T-junction and amidst other small shops; so the area is teeming with life. We didn't know what to expect when we walked it.The interior is very minimalist, not much of a decorative hand at work here. But I believe that's what works so well in this case. Families can come here for a cheap breakfast. The staff are wonderful and welcoming; clearly a family run business.We wondered why it was called Big Breakfast Cafe until the plates were placed on our table and we all gasp at the quantity of food. They cafe uses these King Size plates that rivals large chain restaurants like Toby's Carvery.Negatives : Slighty burnt slices of toast and hot chocolates that tasted like it was made with just hot water.
