Nettlestead Place

Charming, intimate and full of interesting features. This private garden has only limited open days for charity under the NGS, but its appeal is surely not just for keen gardeners but for anyone who can appreciate a beautiful and tranquil setting.

We had our wedding at Nettlestead Place, the venue was breathtaking and we had the most perfect day! The venue itself is quite dynamic offering lots of different elements for your special day; we held our ceremony in the undercroft of the main house which was beautiful and intimate, drinks receptions on the Meadow Lawn amongst the gorgeous gardens and the wedding breakfast/party in the marquee, which was to comparable standard. Our photographers were so unbelievably excited and thus creative to work in such a beautiful location. Sharon the wedding venue manager went above and beyond and our guests were loving the location. We have some cracking memories from our day at nettlestead.

We had our wedding reception at Nettlestead Place in May 2019. We only looked at this venue and new this was the place to have our wedding reception at. setting is stunning, house/grounds are so beautiful to have pictures taken. Staff/food all lovely. Marquee looked stunning with the fairy lights we asked for. Sharon is so helpful, getting everything ready for your big day, less stress for the bride. It was just PERFECT.

Myself and my husband got married here at Nettlestead Place on June 8th 2019, it was the best day of our lives, the venue is absolutely stunning and breath-taking, when we first viewed the venue we fell in love straight away, it has so much to offer.I couldn't recommend Sharon the wedding coordinator enough she was great, I would 100% recommend you having your wedding here you will not be disappointed.

Nettlestead Place was the first and last venue we visited, as soon as we walked into the Under Croft we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Sharon and her team did an outstanding job to make our wedding day the best.

Nettlestead Place is one of my favourite wedding venues in Kent. So much scope for photos and a great team that really love what they do and go the extra mile to make the big day perfect. Ive photographed a number of weddings there and I am looking forward to being back soon! 5*

Where to start, Nettlestead Place is simply magical ! From the moment we pulled into the private drive we knew this was the place for our special day.With stunning gardens, a perfect back drop to the house which inside awaits you a truly special ceremony room that is the under-croft. The marquee reception is perfect, being nestled in the gardens just a floral footpath away from the house.But if that hasn't sold you, then Sharon and Majestic Events are really the stars of the show. Planning a wedding is stressful and the team make the whole process a dream. Nothing is too much and attention to detail really goes a long way to making the day run as smooth as possible. Leaving you to enjoy your special day entirely .Our Wedding Day was just simply the best day of our lives.

Attended a wedding here. Extremely beautiful. The ceremony was held in the crypt while the reception was in a marquee. I’m not a fan of marquees but this was very nice with a separate section for the disco and sturdy clean travel toilets outside. Gardens are very pretty but unfortunately no view of the Medway river. Wedding went well and was very well organised. The only criticism I have is the lack of signage from the road. Several guests including ourselves drove way past the venue and had to double back guessing where to enter. Once found though, there was plenty of parking.
