Reliance Auto Test (Bicester) Ltd

TOTAL DISASTER!!!When my car service light came on I took it to Reliance Auto Test having found them through RAC as one of their approved garages. I paid £476 for them for full service and other extra work on the car however the service light still remained illuminated so they recommended that I take the car to one of their associate garages for a full diagnosis which I was charged a further £78. After the diagnosis with the relevant recommendations I took the car back to Reliance Auto Test and they still could not fix the problem with the car even after charging me an extra £93 blaming their associate garage for wrong diagnosis. They claimed that they had carried out all the work as per the recommended diagnosis however when I pressed them on the issue they finally admitted that they did not re-set the ECU so I had to take the car to Peugeot. I then took the car to KwikFit who straightaway said they did not want to waste my time and money so I should take the car to Peugeot. Consequently I feel robbed by Auto Reliance Test as they could have been professional like KwikFit and not wasted my time and money with them. To be honest there were 2 Red flags that I naively ignored; firstly they did not know/remember my number plate even after they had worked on it twice beforehand so who knows maybe they could have ordered and fitted wrong parts. Secondly after the initial service the gentleman at reception asked me which mechanic dealt with my car and I absolutely had no clue until he checked on on his PC. I really love to support our small local businesses however in this case I feel like a customer who’s taken an empty trolley at a Tesco to the checkout and still charged £500-600 for the empty trolley which is bonkers to say the least. What did I pay for really???

My works van is serviced and repaired by Reliance, always do a great job.Recently had a problem on my own car, a rear light cluster on my Mercedes failed, I took it to Reliance , brilliant job carried out at a great price.Big thanks to the guys for getting it sorted at short notice and at a great price.

Used this garage for the first time on 23/2/21, amazed at the quality, knowledge and professionalism of all staff. I had previously used a Ford main dealer three times who could not detect/rectify the problem, which I had suffered for 30k miles. This garage sorted the issue first time and my car is now like brand new. Thanks so much .

Had an issue with my Nissan Micra high revving . Called Reliance who fitted me in within 48 hrs and resolved problem . Having received such great service , organised to have my Car MOT with them yesterday . Swift and super friendly service . Would highly recommend, definitely my go to garage here on in . 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Recently had my exhaust and suspension fixed at reliance and they were brilliant. Definitely coming here again for any other car issues.

I’ve taken 3 different vehicles into Reliance Auto Test and always been impressed. They fixed the air suspension on a car a different garage had told me was BMW dealer only.They recently worked late to track down and fix an intermittent engine fault so I could have the car back in time for the weekend. Exceptional.

I took my car to Reliance Auto Test. It went for its yearly MOT, unfortunately it failed. However I was called by a polite gentlemen called Kevin and he explained why it failed and what it will take to get it fixed. If the car could not of been fixed that day, he even offered me a curtesy car, but to my surprise it was fixed later that day. Not knowing too much about cars, the team really made me feel reassured and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Highly recommend to anyone. Will defiantly be a returning customer for any of my car Maintance needs.

Staff extremely friendly, when I arrived I was offered a coffee and a seat straight away whilst they had a look at my car. I was shown what was wrong by Ben, and was told it was an easy fix and it would be done by then end of the day. True to his word it was ready within a few hours and my car is now running better than it has done in a long time and with a reasonable price. Thank you to Ben and his team for restoring my faith in mechanics!

AVOID!I got a quote online for my interim service and Mot at £130 just before Christmas. They charged me £185, because they had to do some additional work, to change two bulbs!! They I got home to find out that they didn't stamp my service book, even if I asked them when I left the car, and therefore, I had to go back.During Christmas, I found out that the engine oil was running on my driveway and a few days later my car was out of oil. So, me and my family spend the Christmas holidays without a car (I'm the only driver) because the garage was closed. When they opened, I took my car to them and they couldn't prioritise it, so I had to get it at the end of the day. And after all that, they didn't even bother to say a simple sorry". Couldn't be more careless.Now

RAC Approved too.
