Ascot Cars (Private Hire Taxis)

This company is recommended in the Lapland guide and I’m not sure why. Used them on the way in and despite telling them at booking I was paying by card, we got to Lapland and that’s when the driver shares he doesn’t have a card reader and I should have paid at the office.On the way back…I understand being extremely busy and not having cabs available. What I don’t appreciate is being messed around and being told ‘ my booked taxi is 10 mins away’ repeatedly for an hour while I had 2 tired children in tow.Luckily found another company Ascot Cabz- much nice dispatcher and were with us in 10 mins.

Always a good service, and I have used a fair few times for airport drops and pickups. They've turned up on time (even for very early pick ups), their drivers are polite and the price is reasonable too.I will use them again for any airport trips in the future.

Not as reliable as they used to be. I have made two bookings this last week and they were late on both occasions. For the second booking I called when it looked as though my car would not make it on time, they dispatched a second, closer car which they assured me would arrive on time; it did not. I used to use them because I could rely on them to get me to the station on time, I can’t anymore.

Great taxi service. They always were there on time. Friendly drivers were very nice. Used them to go to Heathrow & Train stations. I recommend them for your trips.

This is an excellent Taxi firm for anywhere around Ascot. I regularly use them to get to the station and back. It's nice because they exclusively use Mercedes and they are all very well kept. Their drivers are always friendly too.All in all an excellent taxi firm.
