Went on my first tope trip with mates and it was enjoyable every minute of the trip and would recommend to anyone. Ben is really friendly and a good laugh but also very knowledgeable. Can not wait for my trips this year. 5*

Did the 3 hr mackerel trip this sept with the skipper BenHe was good moved about it to a few places caught a couple of mackerelThe rods are provided and you get 4 lures on your line. Ben shows you how to use the rod and reel and off you goThe boat is nice enough space on there.Will do another one next year

Really enjoyed our trip (04/07/21) we all caught mackerel and had a lovely 3 hours on board. Very relaxing, Ben was great and couldn’t fault any part of the experience. Great communication from booking to boat. Thank you Ben.

Fantastic family trip on a 3 hour trip. 2adults and 3children, Ben was very patient, encouraging and knowledgeable! A great first time sea fishing trip, we caught seabass which we ate that night! Great first sea fishing trip for the children and would highly recommend Ben a great skipper !

Took a sea fishing trip on the 'Whitby' - great experience for the kids, even though we were a bit unlucky and only caught a couple on the day. Wonderful views of Wells beach and the coastline, giving a different perspective of the area. Between May to September it's possible to fish for Mackerel, Bass & Tope. If you're thinking of booking with Ben and his crew and need to stay in Wells, the Mousetrap is an ideal base being less than 10 minutes walk to the jetty where the Whitby is moored.

Had the most amazing experience! My partner wanted to go fishing as he had never been before, this was exactly what he wanted and he loved every second. Yes I was sea sick but low and behold I am booking in for antihero trip in summer. This was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone trying to sea fish this summer

Took my 9 year old son on our first sea fishing trip together. The pre- booking communication was great and friendly, on yhe day, the atmosphere was great and the host looked after us well.... he helped my son with baiting up etc, and my son loved the fact the host cast in for him asking him to cast to the moon" all in all
