Chris at LAVA brought our home to current connectivity standards. He became a key part of the team as we went through a major 14-month renovation and extension of our property, working very well with all other trades. We now have a home with CAT 6 network connectivity throughout and excellent Wi-Fi coverage over all four floors. We stream movies, have wireless music (Sonos), online gaming, remote access CCTV and fast internet across the whole house. We often have over 20 devices connected to wifi and it all works all the time!!Chris took the time to understand our family needs then recommended a cost effective platform to meet those needs that leaves room for increasing ‘tech’ demand and is still simplistic enough for us to manage as a family.Chris is a pleasure to deal with and hugely competent. It is now 18 months since Chris did the work at our house and everything still works perfectly. We highly recommend his services.

Lava provided a professional service with a clear approach to both the work needed (installation of a home security network) and all costs (which were very competitive). The work needed was not straight forward, using a combination of different cameras and networks, and they were able to quickly adapt their setup to deal with everything that was needed.

Chris at LAVA was absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend Chris at Lava Home for all your home technology problems. Chris worked with us to install a Rako lighting system, to upgrade our CCTV cameras, to install a surround sound system and to improve our internet speed and quality.Chris has very good knowledge of the different products available in the market and is very up-to-date on new technologies and new products through his extensive research. Very pleased with the work Chris did for us. He patiently worked through our old dated cabelling and phone system and brought us uptodate. Excellent service from LAVA. Chris is very knowledgeable and helpful...our internet is now working well throughout the house, he took the time to explain the Smart features and even noticed that we had a hub for the heating (we'd recently moved in and hadn't used it) and set that up as well. As a nice touch, he labelled all the cables and plugs so we can switch devices off standby when not in use.

I have to say how impressed I was with Chris. He knew the options, researched additional points carefully and helped us make the right decision. He got us a great deal on the speakers, amps and some of the other home automation kit, but most importantly didn’t push things we didn’t need.His work was excellent, carefully considered, planned and executed well. We were hugely impressed with him and the quality of his work.I would definitely recommend him and use him again. There were so many options and Chris did a great job of simplifying it and all at a good price. We love what he has done.

I started but never finished a large home network/AV project. Lots of CAT6 cable runs, HDMI over CAT and surround sound into multiple rooms all from a central hub.I brought in Chris from LAVA to complete the project and the quality of the work carried out fully met my expectations. Tasks he carried out included installing and setup of a new RING doorbell, re-routing cables that had been missed or 'lost'. He also identified, labelled and tested each cable to make sure they were all working correctly. The visible cables within the hub were then routed out in a neat and tidy manner.Chris is very friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of home AV. Interesting to hear about some of the tech advances made since i started my project. He will be my go to man for any future work and I am very happy to recommend him for home networking and any AV and smart home installation.
