Did not enter pool. Enjoyed just having a snack on the cafe balcony. Very decent food and polite, friendly staff. Went on recommendation with a friend to taste the rum & raisin ice cream. Sadly that flavour was not available on the day. Beautiful place for all ages. Clean. Will go again.

Good outdoor lido, decent sized. Was a tad cold as the weather was cloudy, pool is supposedly heated to 23 degrees but I've swam in warmer seas! Son aged 11 loved it, they let you take in inflatables so we took our ball in which was fun. 2 hours is a good time too for the money you pay. I managed an hour and half before I got out as I was too cold but my son stayed in until the 2 hour klaxon sounded (so loud!) Would return but only if weather was hot and sunny!

Very clean water, the system works better after the pandemic, you need to buy tickets online and you will be given 2 hours slot. There is no more long queuing which is a bonus. There is a lot to improve but yet I like the place as we don’t get much outdoor swimming pool open to the public in the area. Friendly staff….

Had a great few hours in the pool. Just went to see what it was like, but definitely going again for the day. Lovely park next door. Loved it

Although the pool has been here since the 1930s there's nothing old fashioned about this place. Wonderful, super-clean brine pool (like sea water) and warm too. Gentle sloping beach entrance at one end. Clean changing rooms (not communal). Lockers £1. Need to book in advance using the app. Plenty of paid parking available near the pool.

Great place, daughter loved it! Particularly impressed with staff. Getting people checked in early to avoid queues and life guards were constantly on the younger kids who were left unattended…. Which is a huge plus for any parent! Warm (ish) lovely clear water. Even the coffee was nice. I have no idea how I haven’t been before!

I love this pool. What a gem. Minimally salty, quite shallow. Not the best for swim training as they section off the end of the pool for the kiddos but was still nice nonetheless as a change from wild swimming.

Beautiful lido for outdoor swimming located in the Lido park with cafe adjacent serving sausage sandwiches - ideal after a good swim. A real gem of the town.

Enjoyed my swim, surprised to find that I paid the same amount for 1hours swim at 4.30pm on a Saturday as those who came at 2pm and got 2 and a half hours!!Also the lifeguards were allowing children to run from the back fence and jump in the pool, very dangerous.
