What a great hidden gem. On first appearance the club is dated and not very welcoming.Membership is £10 per year and the beer/lager for example is 33% cheaper than local hostelries.The members are friendly, from all walks of life with music, pool, darts and friendship at the heart of this vital community asset.The bar staff are hard working and always pleasant.

Really should be named the unsocialable club, been there 3 times over the past year.Each time drunks at bar swearing and being abrupt, you are not welcomed more of stared apon as in what are you doing in here!Very clickly place and mainly used for the local drunks.Certainly not a place to take children!

A pub on a field. Cant give anything but 5*. Took my drone and buzzed around then had a few pints. Small and you get a few funny looks but nothing to worry about and when you do get chatting. A nice bunch.

Visited this establishment with a friend who lives nearby and can not fault the brilliant atmosphere and selection of drinks on offer. I would happily visit on a future trip to St Albans.
