Love Your Birth Hypnobirthing

I decided to take a hypnobirthing course as I wanted to view birth differently from all the stories people like to tell you. The Love Your Birth Course did just that! It gave me and my husband a set of tools to use during birth and made me feel confident in the strength my body would have when the time came. No matter what type of birth you want or have (hospital or home, minimal pain relief or all that is available), this hypnobirthing course can help. It really makes you appreciate the power of birth and makes you feel positive about your experience.

With myself and my partner working in the NHS as a paramedic and a neonatal nurse, we thought we knew everything there was to know about giving birth... We were very wrong!We booked a face to face course with Hannah after realising that we both had a few bad experiences with births in our jobs which were causing anxiety.After the first session, we soon realised how focussed our mindset was on what could go wrong, rather than the positives of birth. This was very much due to how we were trained to deal with emergency situations and having never seen a positive birth, this was our perception. Hannah was amazing throughout, and gave us relevant information which made logical sense and answered a million questions. This meant that our mindset was able to change, and we realised that not every birth was an emergency situation.We had booked our birth at the hospital where my partner worked, as she knew the consultants and nurses who worked there... And knew they would be there 'when', not 'if' something went wrong with the birth. We have since felt more confident that we can utilise our new knowledge and skills, and no longer need that safety blanket. We are now booked into a hospital 5 minutes from home and feel so excited to be going to a wonderful birthing centre to have our baby. This was not Hannah's intention of course, but this just goes to show how much more confidence we have now.The techniques Hannah has introduced to us have helped us both with the pregnancy and has brought us closer together as a couple. We feel completely supported by one another and we both know our roles in the birth.We are so excited for the arrival of our baby and we absolutely love the affirmations and meditation tracks we have been given to listen to daily. We really missed our sessions when they had finished!We 100% recommend Hannah to anyone. If she can change our mindset, she can help you too!

Loved our intensive course as baby bean number 2 is due in 4 weeks. Really informative, Hannah is so friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. I’ve already been listening to the MP3’s and advice provided. Generally feel more relaxed and confident about what’s ahead.
