The best builders merchants I've ever known. The yard staff are particularly polite and helpful. They'll always come and ask how they can help as soon as they can. They help load up when needed. Saws,tape measures etc always handy when you forget to bring one. It's always tidy and they know where everything is and usually how it works.They got yard of the the year last year and they deserve to win again.The rest of the staff deserve the same praise but I'm not up for typing any more.

Buildbase supplied our new kitchen. Katherine was very efficient and great at communicating. The kitchen was delivered on the day we agreed, nothing missing, no damage, minimal plastic packaging and only a 4 week turn around. The quality of the kitchen is high and the price was very good. The company were extremely easy to deal with. My best experience of a kitchen suppier so far and i have fitted kitchens from many different suppliers.

We were not happy with customer service in exeter branch. We made quite big order online for nearly £800 we ordered 4 different items from which 3 were correct but wooden boards came with different dimensions than stated on website (a lot thiner)After speaking with two different operators none of them was able to help us. We couldnt exchange it for right ones, not even a small refund was offered,not to mension apology. We have been told not to rely on what website says because website is wrong!?! How can you even say that to customer? If your website is wrong then fix it.Its not fair to us. I dont usually complain but this time I think I should. In hard times like we have now £800 is a lot for us so at least we wanted to get exactly what we ordered.

I went to several builders merchants and builbase were the best price and the best staff.I had an awkward delivery location which the staff looked at the pictures and measurements of and the driver even came over when I was in store and had a chat too.Prompt delivery and good advice.I have had dealings with the wellington branch in the past also and they were equally helpful.Will be using again and definitely recommend.

I have a new built house in Exeter and lack of storage space in kitchen and additional cabinets were required. I google in Buildbase website which replied by Katherine, she made an appointment with me. She came and took photos and measurements in the kitchen and gave a design for me. After few discussions in email and a final design was confirmed. She gave me a quotation and I accepted it. The cabinets were delivered in two weeks after the final payment. I hired two carpenters to fix it. I found out the product with good quality and beautiful after the fixing on the wall. It was a precise design which match with the existing cabinets. I enjoyed the smooth process in my purchase and appreciate the works by Katherine.

Very friendly staff always happy to help. Delivery drivers who aren't miserable. A very good range of kitchens with a great designer and a well laid out showroom. Very good on prices and easy to keep track of your account on line. Easy online payment as well.Glad I changed from my previous merchant.
